I think we'll go with Fridays at 22:00 GMT (5:00 pm Eastern) for the game night. We can get a good mix of guys from everywhere throughout the night. Feel free to organize a game anytime though if there's enough interest. I know some of us have partied up and played a few games.

I think a private match is best for the bigger group games though as it lets everyone have fun without being too serious about stats. I know that lag can be an issue at times when there's Americans and Aussies in the group.

I'd be down, except I play on the 360. Maybe we could set up both if there was enough interest?
 
With so many MW2 players online, I don't see why not. Just comes down to the time.

But i don't think regions are that big a deal.
 
Well, differences in time will matter, and there used to be a ton of lag in CoD4 for those playing across oceans.
 
Yeah, lag will suck in public(or ranking) matches. I had some nightmarish matches playing with the Aussies, man. I'd be aiming like two feet to the right just to hit somebody. I was actually unstoppable in one of those matches, and I'd imagine it was because I was jumping & warping all over the place. :lol:

I think private matches might be fun. That way, if you get owned by your gtp friends, it won't count toward your stats, and who cares?
 
Updated first post with PS3 names list. I figured I'd try this out so that those who are more interested in playing as a group can add others. Plus it's probably a bit easier to try and organize things here instead of through PSN.
 
If we get enough members, we should do private matches. Lag will most likely be a problem, and I hate going negative on games. :grumpy:
 
Most of the members are UK/US, and i don't remember having that many issues playing with them. And the time difference is only 5 hours or so.

Is all i'm sayin'.

Might be too early for those on the West Coast. I thought you guys were used to doing things late, because all the sports that takes place here are on there at like 10 pm. :lol:

Midday sat should be fine if someone starts organising this now, groups of people etc etc. People needing to add one another as well.
 
I usually start playing around midnight Eastern time. I've got to stop playing so much, I'm not getting squat done. Anyone can add me if they want. If you see me on go ahead and invite me to a game and I'll join up, unless I'm doing super good which isn't often.
 
5Pm EST is actually a great time for me aswell, as I'll have "School" (:dopey:) until 4:30 or so.

Oh god not gone well at all, apparently 888 tuning got it wrong. It isnt midday sat for us Aussies. It is more like 3am Sat, I will not be able to attend :(.
 
It's not 3am, is it?

1700 + ~1800 to NZ = 1700-0600 = ~1000 = 10am NZ, which is around 7-8am for you Aussies...
 
1700 GMT, I am 10+GMT. Add 10 to 17 and you get 27. That is stupid though so why dont we try this.

5pm + 12 hours = 5am, 5am - 2 hours = 3am. There you go, 3 am.
