here's something quite funny:

go to google www.google.com

type "Go To Hell" with the quotes (not case sentitive, however)

now do not press Return (or Enter) hit "i'm feeling lucky"

and... :D

good question, i'd have to find the uber dork that wrote that first...

you don't get to a certain website? let's not name it, in case we'd spoil the fun, but it starts with an M, and it's quite a big company... :D

Oh I know that. It happened. I happen to like that company. That might be why I did not laugh. I can see how it would be funny though PR. :)

Oh, OK. Didn't work for me. I actually went to Hell. Well, OK, my browser did...

One of the version of Word, I think it was in Office 95 had the following 'feature'. If you typed in the words "I'd like to see Bill Gates dead", then selected the words, went to Tools, Language, set it to American English, then went to Tools, Thesaurus, it came up in Alternative Options "I'll drink to that".

You have to type "go to hell" in quotes, Giles.

<- found this out the hard way as well. :dunce:

Oh, OK. I saw "with the quotes" and I'm so used to seeing "without the qoutes" written I just speed-read over the lack of those three letters!!

D'oh!

It'll work with anything beginning with "I'd like to see":D

Surely it's not that funny...

Either that or most of you people are far too easily amused.
