Handicaps are up, and only Marooned and RACECAR changed.

A few more things as well -

1. I will be at SFGTP4 next Sunday at 5pm, so I am extending the deadline for this race until Monday, 11/3 at noon PST (8 pm GMT).

2. I am making an executive decision, as well as a mathematical probability decision. The handicaps are now locked. These are your handicaps for the last 2 races, 10 laps at Laguna Seca and 2 Laps at Nürburgring Nordschleife.

So, if you would like to work ahead, you are welcome to. :D

Have fun, this is my favorite world circuit on GT4, so I'm hoping to give some of the fasties some trouble this week. :trouble:

Kevin

Gave this race a try last night, it was good but I had to increase the AI to +9. As they are slow on the turns and they bottle up...Had a couple of taps but nothing to put me on the pits. Once I was on the clear I was able to lower several lap times.
Line up
RX-7 (1st)
Corvette Stingray (3rd)
2 Subaru's Wagon and a sedan (5 & 6)
Rx-8 (last place)

May give it another run tonight @ +10 to get a cleaner run.
Good Luck all!

Gave this a try yesterday, 1st went for AI +10 but found
them to be too slow when cornering and allways overpowering past me on
straiths just to brake infront of me and get me the penalty.

I switched to AI +7 and found it to be alot better since I was able
to pass 4 of the AI's before the end of lap 1
and last one at halfway of lap 2.

Lineup
Toyota CALDINA GT-FOUR '02
Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Concept '88
Infiniti G35 SEDAN '03
Honda HONDA S2000 Type V '03
Mercedes 190 E 2.5 - 16 EvoII '91

After that it was just a battle against the clock.

splits from fastest lap sofar:

T1 27.214
T2 52.563
T3 1'18.541

I will be giving this a few more tries before the deadline.

Gonna submit in a few minutes.

Blimey, thought I'd missed the deadline there, but just seen the deadline is a day later than normal. Phew! I'll attempt this race now 👍

EDIT: Time submitted 22:44 GMT

Pretty boring race. Had it on difficulty 7, same kind of cars as usual (including the Audi S4 who tried to punt me off at Motegi!), and thanks to them braking in the middle of corners managed to power past some and outbrake others to be into the lead in the first couple of laps. From then on I was just setting fairly consistent times till the finish.

I'm going for the DNF and 1 point also.
SFGTP4 took up a little too much time this week. :guilty:

Looking forward to the Nurb' though! :trouble:

Spent some time this morning getting something submittable, but it was nothing impressive.

Results are up on the second post. Congrats to MadMax86 for the win and homeforsummer for the second place.

One week left in the series. MadMax86 is now the series leader, Smallhorses is in second, while I'm currently in third.

Good luck to all at the green hell. 👍

Damn, I missed out on the deadline. Even worse was I gone at the time:guilty:

Congrats to the podiums, and Camikaze

I knew my time would be something like that compared to every one, but ain't every one now is busy with GT5P:D

No GT5:P for me. :indiff:
GT4 FTW!
I'll be a Beta-Tester when PD pay me to be a Beta-Tester, and never the other way round! :trouble:

Congratulations to MadMax86 for taking over the lead in the series, and unless he suddenly undergoes a complete and utter meltdown on the 'Ring, the overall series win!

SFGTP4 was a monumental event, and well worth putting the extra time into to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible and my data-loss accident didn't help matters. :dunce:
I did try to get a clean MX-5 run in on Sunday morning while we were warming up for the day, but alas, it wasn't to be. :(

Our Miata is now safely back in it's comfortable garage spot, but since the rains have arrived, it's going to see limited road time between now & March, especially since there's snowfall in the Sierra Nevada already and my snowboard is just gagging to be ridden!

Thanks also good luck to you at Green Hell.

No GT5:P for me either at the moment
maybe @ year change range..

I wouldn't be so sure I'll do that good @ the 'Ring
So it seems everything is left open for the final round.

+rep for all who made it to SFGTP4.. 👍

Not a marginal win this time so :ouch:

I have been thinking about new kind of race series where all road cars are allowed.
And the winner wouldn't be allways the driver with fastest time.. hmm 💡

Congratulations guys...
and to MadMax86 for overtaking first place. :)

Phew, didn't think I'd get second place, though obviously there are a few people who didn't manage to submit times who I'm sure would have pushed me down ;)

Sorry for the delay, I was ment to post the replay alot earlyer, but had 100+ replays on memorycards.
I was ment to post the round 7 replay in the round 7 thread, but it got closed before I got the chance.

It took awhile to get them all sorted, but I've got the 2 last round replays up for viewing.
