I'm going to run a sprint lounge to ought if anyone wants to race for fun. 9pm my lounge. Bring your challenger TC

Times? I'm not able to practice again this week. Thanks.

Times? I think the fast lap was a 1.20.007 I was a few tenths off of that, looks like I won't make the Rome race next week though, I've got an autocross to go to that night.

I may make it this evening, Never driven the Challenger TC. What tires?

Well it looks like PD has other plans for us tonight. I'll try getting on at 9pm. If we can't get on we'll just bail for tonight and resume next Wednesday

I'll be on for tonight. In other news...

This seems silly. We already had 2 sports car series that were in the shawdow of NASCAR (Alms & Grand Am). Not to mention DTM cars are ********* expensive - they are basically Prototype cars with a body on top . I can't see a US dtm series drawing in a large # of viewers here and teams willing to pony up the $.

In actuality with Grand Am and ALMS merging we only have 1 Series under NASCAR right now. That's if you do not count the Continental Tire Series. I think there is potential though in a US DTM series.

I like the alms merger too, since no one was really running p1 one big gt field is nice. But dtm is only a much much more expensive gt car, and if no body wanted to run P1 who's goingt to spend $ for a car that cost almost as much as a p1 car when there's GTE and Daytona Prototypes??

Reading the quotes from the Europeans it seems like a us series would give them even more incentive to race as the cars would be used more often (giving more bang for the buck as far as use goes) and seen by another large market of potential fans and buyers. It seems like the dtm style cars are being built regardless so why not race them over here.

I watched some of the replays from tonight. Man that was some great racing!

Yea that was a lot of fun last night. Very close finishes too. I think the series should be pretty good.

There were a couple of you, GIH, and myself going across the line that were great.

Yeah, that was fun although I think I need some practice on bump drafting. I bumped ncr at daytona before the bus stop and I guess he got going too fast, sorry about that man.

I kept trying to stay behind P1 until the last lap, and it only worked once I think. That one at Indy was set up perfect until RR stuck his nose in there. :)
Motegi was really good, but I botched the last corner. Have you guys tried Sport Softs on that car? It may be better.

I don't bump draft at DRC for that reason. On the ovals I like to think I'm pretty good at bump drafting, so if I'm behind you grab the wheel a little tighter. ;)

Heh, I was watching you in my rear view and thinking to myself, he's not going to bump here is he? I didn't care, best to figure what doesn't work in practice.

This car is a big switch from the Miata, literally. Good track choices for it. I'd like to run it no ABS, the corkscrew got a little dicey however.
