. GIH, great sportsmanship waiting for Envy after he was hit with the PD pit bug. Not so sure i would have slowed down myself!
.

Totally agree! I honestly expected GIH to win the drag race down the straight with one lap top go.

Good racing guys, that was fun.

It was close, I had a good run off that last corner, the finish line is in the wrong spot for that move to work. :nervous: I don't mind waiting, , it's a lot more fun than lapping.

Standings updated on the first page. JT is starting to open a gap. With him being the king of Laguna Seca, he'll be hard to beat.

Rolex running today at Road Atlanta. I believe it is their first time there. Should be fun!

What % is the "surface water" going to be set at?

50% with weather change set at 7. We will start the races with a dry surface. Depending on the rain, we could see none or all the way up to 100% surface water. Letting the game decide.

Are you sure, you want to be your trust in the GT5 weather system......

Nope

Is there a surface water setting?

Not that I'm aware of. Pretty sure when Envy, Mike, RR and myself were testing that we had it set at 50% / 7. I'll check when i get home later this evening.

There are 3 settings for weather

Surface water: How wet the track is at start of race. (pretty self explanatory) Track will get wetter/drier depending on weather.

Starting Weather: How good/bad weather is at start of race. 0% = perfect through to 100% = heavy rain. It stays at this % for a short time into the race (roughly 3~4minutes) before the weather randomness takes over.

Changability: 0 - 10. 0=no change. 10=guaranteed change of weather. 5= 50% chance of change in weather.

I ran 4, 17 lap races and had no rain for any of them.

thanks brett. As mentioned. We will start with a dry surface, 0%. Have weather set at 50% with change 7 selected. Sorry if this is confusing. Just practice in rain just incase lol

If you see rain and pit, and choose Rain Intermediates, the game automatically chooses to install Race Hards if the rain starts to stop. Over a 4 second decrease in lap times. Happened to me twice.

Interesting, Do you own the rain tires? I wasn't experiencing this during practice.

In theory, this is correct. But PD Logic doesn't give a F about theories.

I've started my next savings project......
