I would if the d*mn things would get here. IT's been 3 months and not 1 store is getting them.

Stupid Microsoft.

Hey everyone, I broke down and bought a 360 Saturday(2/11/06), the thing is awesome(huges console). Thanks to Micosoft for doing it right this time(damn 720p has runed me forever, I can't go back).

My console:

I may drop down to a 26inch model from the 32inch i was going to order. The one I am going to order has all the same specs as the 32inch HDTV i am getting, but more cheaper.

Also the 26inch one I may be getting insted has a free freeview box throwen in aswell.

The graphics and color in Kameo are amazing in 1080i HDTV. I know you dont have HDTV but you will still probably enjoy how colorful that game is. Watch what happens when you walk into water or throw something into the water. It responds 100% to every move you make. I talked about it in the Kameo thread. 👍

were did you get the faceplate driftgod? and how did you get/install the 120ggig hdd?

i'll try and post up some pics of myn when it get's back with it's 'neons' on and my TDU and PGR3 faceplate.

and forza 2 faceplate if i can find one ANYWHERE:(

like DUCK said the 120 GB HDD comes with a cable that you plug into the usb port in the back of the 360 and into the 120GB HDD, then there is a disc that walks you through the set up and data transfer.
the transfer took awhile, it started at 1 hour 3 min but i dont think it took that long.

i bought the HDD & FACEPLATE at GAMECRAZY (where i buy all my games/accessories) my friend is the manager and he got 1 FORZA 2 FACEPLATE in and called me and asked if i wanted it, so i had him hold it for me ;)

lol i was walking around town for 3hrs and coudn't find either, then i came home and went on GPstore.co.nz, and in my email inbox they had sent me an email saying they had the 120gig's lol
http://www.gpstore.co.nz/Games/1541123.html
and it's only nz$40 more then the 20gig!
still havn't found the faceplate though:(
it would go great with my blue lights, power ring thing etc.

Erm, you can. The 120GB comes with a cable to transfer all your data to the new hard drive. Then, you detach the 20GB and put on the 120GB.

While losing the ability to use anything you have purchased unless you are signed into XBL.

Edit: Is anybody brave enough to take apart one of the hard drive enclosures? If there isn't any data on the disk, couldn't we just buy whatever size HDD we want and put it in that enclosure? I bet there is a standard connector inside. Then the only problem is needing that transfer disc.

I wasn't signed into XBL when I did my transfer. All of my downloaded content worked just fine.
