still breaking it in
dbartucciMaybe it's just me, or maybe it's the setting you're transfering the pics at (superfine?), which may be a function of the technology currently available to you, but the pics seem so pixelated (if that's a word), especially the backgrounds. Which detracts from them. Other than of couse putting green wheels on a black RX-7.
Can you snap a photomode pic so I can see the difference?
KurtGGreat job sonny. Im not able to post my pics yet cause i need a flash drive but your the first person ive actually seen that shows some natural creativity and what seems like a bit of photography knowledge in their pics. Its friggin hilarious how the first average- above average shots ive ever seen on this site get ragged on. Most all other pics ive seen people take are just awfull. Thats so friggin pathetic that they diss on your pics lol. Nice job man. 👍
KurtGI especially like the 5th one, great job on that one. As for some constructive criticism: There are a few that are rather underdramatic. I might suggest varying the height of the camera more to add some drama to your pics as it seems allmost all the pics are taken from similiar heights. Also, if the stretch of road doesnt have many naturally interesting objects to include in the photo, try to create some drama by taking the pic from an angle which morphs the road into some creative geometry or gives the picture more depth.
dbartucciI believe the setting is in either game options or photo mode options.
I don't mean to knock your skill as a photographer, and I really do think some of the shots are good, but when you're editing them, they kinda get washed out and pixelated. Compare the night shots you've taken, to the ones of the HKS Silvia during the day, and you can see how much crisper the Silvia looks in comparison.
Have you considered playing with the aperature and F-stop to get brighter looking shots, rather than doing it after the fact?
s0nny80yJust wanted to start a compilation of what I have so far. These pictures showcase the "artistic" abilities of the photomode of GT4. What I'm most proud of are the backfire snaps and the retro comic book mugshots. I'm still trying to figure out how to capture the backfire pics (as in how to tone the pictures to exxagerate the flame).
If the picture is too pixelated after loading the webpage, just click it to minimize it.
XCNuseya how are you transfering your pictures, they seem a good bit compressed (notice the pixelated skys (and yes dbartucci pixelated is a word)
btw, those dont look edited dbartucci, they look like their straight from the game
some of those camera angles are pretty cool though
to bad the quality is so poor
s0nny80yi'm so jealous of ppl on this board. It seems everyone has Photoshop except me. How much does the program cost and does it make a difference over other 3rd party brands?
