Amen to that. My Dad's '95 Neon ACR came with a spare set of tires that my Dad nicknamed "Hooligan Tires". Basically, the rear tires are shaved versions of the stock tires and the fronts are Bridgestone Blizzak LM 22's. Every once in a while he switches the backs from the Blizzaks to the shaved ones and messes around doing dounts in an Family Dollar parking lot.

The funny thing was he was going like 10 when it happened, but he broke part of the curb. And the best part is we got it all on tape too! So when I edit everything it will be good to go.

But ya he...

- Snapped the half shaft
- Broke the control arm
- Ripped the strut out
- Bent the strut
- Bent the rim (brand new)
- Ripped the tire (brand new)
- Messed up the tranny
- Messed up the under body

Grand total:
$6000 bucks worth of damage.

Wow... No offense towards your buddy, but if a 10mph crash does that much to a Saturn... what does that say about their products.

I'd say to clean up the tail of your truck, re-paint the hitch black and get a plug and play kit for the trailer lights. The dangle technique doesn't suit your rig. Other than that, see if you can't nab an exhaust setup off of a new Silverado SS for the tips, they're hot!

Yup it is a Redline, and it has a few engine mods on it since the beginning of November.

It's a really big curb, it doesn't look it but I would say its close to 6 inches.

I get it even worse that Blazin most of the time because I live right next to lake Michigan. Only about 2 miles away. We get soo much lake effect snow every year. I should have taken a pic becuase we had almost 12 inches of snow. I watched the weather channel and on the other side of the like (west) there was hardly anything. Blazin would not have been driving his truck over the weekend if he had as much snow as we had.
2wd Lowered truck would never make it thru snow that deep.

I either drive my mom's Pacifica or my girlfriend's S-10. I used to have a Saturn but my brother bought it from me, somebody hit it and totaled it. He now has a truck almost as low as mine, it's an S-10 as well.

But if no one else is around I just call my buddy with a lifted Dodge Ram and he'll take me where I need to be.

But I live right on a main road so it's not too bad.

Believe me I know all about that. I only have 1-2 inches of clearance on some of the lowest parts of my Camaro. I am pretty sure im lower than your truck. I couldnt drive my Camaro thru snow ever.
Amazing enough I dont bottom out unless I try to go over speed bumps. I just drive around them.

Ya you are lower then me, I think I have like 5.5 inches of clearance or something. But I can't get out of driveways with out scraping, my front groundeffects are really chewed up.

My headers and my crossmember for the 6 speed tranny are the lowest points. If I drive over a chipmunk he is history.

Hahaha I did the same thing right after I lowered my truck, I hit a raccoon and it cracked my front air damn and then proceeded to get lodged in the driftshaft...looked like furry hamburger under my truck .

I wont get too concerned yet until its actually here. We never really know what we will get. They say 12" and we get 1" Other times they say 12" and we only get 1" I guess I will just know when I wake up in the morning.

We have that weather here as well. My friend in Minnesota also claims to have crazy climate jumps as well, so it's seemingly like the Northern Midwest is getting screwballed for weather. We have a severe blizzard warning in my area as well. Funny how I saw 55+ on the thermo. yesterday.

It's January and it's 50 degrees outside, so I washed my truck in my driveway yesterday and took some pictures in the Oakland University parking garage with my buddies Crown Victoria. No real new mods...unless you count where some punk kids took a bat to my truck.

Gotta love michigan weather. A month ago we had over a foot of snow on the ground and it was 0 degreees. Now 40-50 degrees. Enjoy it you know how our weather is. In another week or 2 we will probably be at negative 5 with another foot of snow. Im gonna work on my Camaro tomorrow and start preping it for the race even in April. I have a LOT to do and need to get started!
Sucks some kids hit your truck. Will your insurance cover it? My insurance on the Camaro covers EVERYTHING!

Oh I'm guessing South Eastern Michigan will get hit with snow on Super Bowl Sunday...I'm just guessing that.

But actually with the truck I was at my buddies house and I saw these kids pull up in a Hummer H3 (they were 16), get out and hit my truck with a bat. My buddy and I ran outta the house and chased them down on foot, tackled...errr stopped them, and held both of them on the ground (me using my foot and my buddy kneeling on the one guys cheast.

The police came and arrested both kids. The one was charged with a felony and the other a mistomeiner. The one went to a boot camp (felony boy) and the other was sentenced to something like 200 hours of community service and they were both issued big fines. The kid with the bat ended up beating up like 10 other cars that night.

I sued the family, won $2100 for damages (really its like $900 but I was pissed and wanted a little more so I had the dealership screw me on the estimate).

So anyways after I got a check from the family I decided to check out where they lived...it was a 1.4 million dollar house on Lake Orion. Also the best part was my mom used to be these kid's mom's boss back when she was mortage banker. So ya funny story.

But I'm richer and will get my truck fixed soon enough.
