Here are 2 pics of my car, sorry if they're too big too see or whatever. My Dad bought 'er for me earlier this month for my birthday. It already had the 18in Racing Hart C5's when he bought it.He bought it from a guy who was selling it so he could buy a Supra Twin Turbo. Obviously he ended up with a better car, but hey, what can ya do...? :D


The reason I said don't laugh is because I get a LOT of kids laughing at me(especially my friends), and telling me I drive a girl's car. Oh well, all is good at the end of the day.


One question. Does anyone, or can anyone turn the pics into gif files instead of jpg's so I can use one as an avatar...? I would, but I don't know how too... :confused:


Sorry if we're not supposed to be posting pics of our own personal cars here, I hope it's cool with all of you guys, and girls.. :nervous: I also wouldn't mind seeing some of the cars you guys/girls drive too.

Damn, I almost forgot to tell you what it is.


It's pretty obvious to most what type of car it is, but to those of you who can't tell, it's a 2001 Honda S2000.
 
Oh, yeah, it's very cool!  As a matter of fact, I'll be using it for Photo of the Day later tonight.  Personally, I love it when members post pictures of their cars, and I think everyone else does too.  :)

Now, about your car...

That's by-far one of the best looking S2000's I've ever seen!  Especially the wheels, they look great.  :thumbsup:  :thumbsup:  Anyone who makes fun of that car needs to be...well I won't say that.  :smilewinkgrin:  

I know that I would love to be seen driving it.
 
By the way, which one of the pictures would you like made into an avatar?  I can fix that up for you.

I love the wheels. They were the ones I wanted to get if I ever got a Supra, but I'll probably never get one...

Most of the people who make fun of it drive cars like Camaros, Trans Ams, most of the manly cars. I try not to let it get to me though. My friends just make fun of me cause they know I kinda hate it when people talk about it in a negative way.


I really don't mind being seen in it, I just hate the negative comments I constantly hear from people. Most of the people you see driving them are in their 40's, and 50's, and when they see a kid driving one they get really upset for some reason....


I like to race(kids on the street), but um, 7000rpm clutch drops aren't good on my clutch... :D



Do you have any pics of your LS400? I'd definitely like to see 'em if you do. Your tahoe too. Do you have anything done to either one?

I've seen tons of giggling blondes driving Camaros and Trans Ams, I don't consider them more manly than any other car at all.  And, actually, I've never seen a female in an S2000.

Most likely, they are extremely jealous.

Sadly, I haven't done anything to either car, so I doubt you'd want to see a picture of them.  :)  I'll try to fix up the avatar by tonight.
 
Yeah, I see a lot of girls driving Z28's, and other cars like that. I sometimes don't understand why Camaro owners say that cars like Eclipses are girl's cars, when I see more guys driving Eclipses, and more girls driving Camaros.

I too have never seen a girl driving an S2000, but my brother called me a lil' while back to tell me that a girl he goes to school withs mom bought one. It's all good though, cause I like my car a lot, and I try not to let what they say get to me.

I have been a fan of Trans Ams and the other variants of the Firebird for years and I like the S2000. It does not have too radical of styling, which is good.  Tell them to piss-off.

You see this new stuff with a sharp angle here and there, bah, give me smooth styling.

I like your car, now the 300 M I don't like. And, no offense, but the RSX's headlights remind of of those on the 300 M. Ugh.

Yeah, the S2000 is has some of the smoothest and cleanest lines of any Asian car, in my opinion.

I also am a fan of T/A's Especially new ones. I saw a new WS6 with the big ass ram-air hood today when goin' to the movies. I got in front of it, and looked in the rear-view mirror, and I was like DAYUMN! It looked so evil from the front... :eek:

I also like a different T/A, I'm not positive which one it is, but it's one of the new anniversary ones. They're white w/blue stripes, ram-air hood, blue-chrome wheels. Very sweet looking.... :o

Your car is very nice Josh.  Do you have any mods under the hood or anything?  I like the rims that you have also.  I wouldn't consider an S2000 a woman-car.  I've only seen a few around here, and your's looks very nice compared to theirs.  Nice car.
 
No mods yet. I have been thinking of getting some kind of turbo put on, nothing too big though. Some people have suggested a Nitrous kit, but I wouldn't feel safe running nitrous on my car. I'd be afraid of really f_____g something up.


All I have is a K&N Cone filter, but I really wouldn't consider that a real mod.

I'm also thinking of Eibach lowering springs, and a short-throw shifter, and a few other goodies.
 
Nitrous can really ruin your car if it's not used right.  If I were you I'd do the suspension kit, that'd be really cool.  And possibly do a few other mods.
 
Hey Josh, nice ride.  Im envious of your ride.  Its super and if anyone says its a girls car, say it sure does attract the ladies.

Btw, youve got a lot of potential in your s2000.  The world will open up to you in the name of performance stuff.  Keep it stealth and drive a sleeper.

You'd probably have no problem beating me in a race. To even get a good launch I have to clutch drop at around 7krpm, and doing that just sends chills down my spine... :nervous:

Nice car BTW. I like the taillights. I've been thinking of some Altezza style taillights for my car, but I dunno...

I'd like to see it too, but considering that if we raced...most of the race would be behind me, so I wouldn't get to see much! :D


If I were to get some Altezza style taillights, maybe after we got done racing misnblu could tell me how they looked since he'd have seen quite a bit of them. HAHA, j/k man. :smilewinkgrin:
 
That is one sweet car Josh. The S2000 has to be one of my favourite cars. Have you done any mods to the bodywork because it looks a little different to the UK spec S2000's ?
 
Hey Phil, I'm not familiar with the S2000's over in the UK, or if there are differences between the body styles of those in UK, and the ones here in US.


The only difference between my S2000, and a completely stock S2000 is the Wheels, and the clear corners next to my headlights.

Hondas r the best car...i want a 2000 civic si real bad and i think what they did to the new civics looks like crud and that s2000 is bangin i wouldnt mind taken that over a SI. This is the last year they making the s2000 but i hope they make a new model soon.
 
I agree lildawgryan- I really like the '99-'00 Civic Si's, but I can't stand the newest Honda Civics. They look like **** in my opinion.


 
Yeah I agree, the new Civics are just nasty.  Poor things look like boxes or something.  I am not exactly sure but hell I think that Honda could of made a better model.  I also like the 2000 SI's.  I mean, I am not a major fan of totally riced out cars, but if it hauls, it's sweet.

Actually, I like that little Citroen, and I'm not kidding, either.  It looks a lot better than most compacts out there!  :thumbsup:
