I got my 240SX just about a year ago. She was still pretty new when we took this picture.
A couple months later, I was in the right place at the right time, one rainy mountain evening. My car was featured in D-Car magazine, a Japanese tuning mag.
Going to the track started to make some wear and tear on the car, but she still drove great. About a month ago, I installed a Carbon Fiber hood and spoiler.
And then, on tuesday night.....
One of my cast 5Zigen rims failed at about 80 in the carpool lane. I ended up entering a bus lane at high speed, which led me into a station. for some reason, the road crosses over at the station. I didn't realize in time, nor did I have sufficient control of the vehicle, but where the road turned, there was a high, sloped curb. I hit it at high speed and caught air. I flew into an angled barrier wall, which guided me into another wall across the lane, and came to a stop about 75 yards later.
