It's more like loosing a family member. But I'm sure it differs in degree for everybody.

Why do you hate cats? What is there to hate? Playfulness? Affection? Entertainment? Companionship? I bet you don't know the first thing about them. Most people who say such things don't.

it's so hard losing a pet :cry: We used to have a little chihuahua, but just TWO weeks after we bought it she got sick so we had to put her to sleep. she was so cute. :cry: :cry: I hate it when our pets get sick, and i hope your cat is having a good time now, with no more pain. :)
 
Well, this was a long time ago, I'm pretty much over it till I really think about it.

We got a new kitty in june, that's a little soon but in my family it was better to get another animal soon...it kinda takes our minds off of the horrible thing that happened.

It's all better now. Shayna has turned into a kind of Candy with Cosmo around...Cosmo is insane most of the time...when he got declawed he chilled out for a while, but now he's causeing problems again, but he's cute and fun to play with. Shayna is still cute and nice too, but she's kinda gone into defense mode cause Cossy keeps terrorizing her even though we do our best to stop him. But sometimes Shayna goes after him so they are both even.
