Maybe not much of a challenge!
Actually, its about winning one race in A Spec with every car I own. Makes a bit more sense now I guess
I have accumulated about 188 cars, most of which I have not driven, so I thought this would be a good challenge.
Some "rules" I am trying to follow:
Minimal upgrades/tuning. Every car will get an oil change, but hopefully nothing else. If upgrades are required, they will start with tires and suspension, plus the basic engine/intake/exhaust stuff. Idea is to minimize the amount of credits used.
Tires limited to max Sport soft, but will run the cars as equipped first to see how they do.
Races should be a challenge. Not much point in it if all I do is the Sunday Cup! I will be trying to match the car to a suitable race, ie the Jaguar S Type R in the European race series.
TC set to 1, other nanny aides set to default. I may play around with those on some races a bit, just to add a bit more excitement.
Surprises so far:
The Jag S Type is awesome bone stock. Won the two European races I entered without any issues, just a bit of understeer.
The Subaru 360 and Fiat 500 are a blast, but need some serious tuning, especially the full trannie upgrade so that to speed can be changed. some of the other small cars a fun too, like the Honda City Turbo.
I have been rather disappointed with the tuner cars I have, they just seem to be a bit off and need more tuning to make them truly competitive in the tuner races. But that may just be me!
I did not like that Dodge P/U, ugh.
Anyway, just my idea of keeping some interest in the game, and also earning credits/experience while doing something different. A new way of grinding I guess!
