sometimes when someone says crap, that's all they mean, crap which is what that lounge chair looking thing looks to be. I could be wrong and I probably am but It looks like something anyone with a pipe bender and $50 worth of pipe could make.

Seriously though, the seat, for a basic construct with no options, frills OR EYE APPEAL isn't "bad". If it were in the $150-$175 range, I could see it doing well when GT5 releases solely on the price. I'd be thinking "sell-sell-sell" if I wee a share holder and it were anymore then that.

He obviously has a fair amount of pride in his country, and what they are doing there and feels that they are do a little credit (he started by announcing his country's new product). So, I'll offer this: I wish Rhino well with their sales when GT5 releases... they'll need it if it's over $175 in as-is form now.

It's also a perfectly acceptable non-threatening (and not against the AUP, btw) gesture. It looks like crap in comparison. There I said it again. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever. If you said it looked like crap, (or the Obutto, or anything else) I would have absolutely no problem with it, as anyone else around here.

I've always thought Rinoseat products were way over priced. As someone who has done a reasonable amount of fabricating, the cost just doesn't add up. They very well may be a decent cockpit option for some, but not at such a high price-point.

I would much rather throw down the money on something more along the lines of the OP's design.

I think that the new Rinoseat is better of the Playseat Evo and the price would have to be somewhat higher or equal.

Lol, way to bring up a dead post WJHMH. But it was a good read, and i really wish i new how to fabricate & weld. Seems to me most racing setups are WAYYYY overpriced.
