Well its used, but its only a 2001, (I think) but a very fun car indeed! VERY fast. I have driven a couple of times and love it! 400hp is quite enough power for me! (i have really got the hang of shifting, you can tell by thepic of the tire marks) I would love to hear any opinions or remarks. (possibly any experiences from other members who have owned or driven an M5 before) anyway, here are some pics, enjoy!

Wow, that's hot stuff. I very much like the Ms (:

And used cars are generally a more intelligent choice, as cars loose most of their value in the first year or two.

Whoa, my favorite bimmer. Nice car! Iit the one you drove in the snow?

Just curious, how much did he pay for it?

$51,700 in Central, Arkansas, according to KBB. Though I don't know how accurate that is.
Doing a quick search i've found two for around $60k (Can), it's close.

I've also found this while searching. :( The guy says (in bad french): "Unique, impossible to see another one like it" ...great news!

Just get the old man to kick the bucket and it is all yours :D
J/k.

That is evry nice indeed, have fun. But don't wreck it!

Very nice. Imola Red M5s are not very common.

Wait a minute. Are you telling us your dad is letting your learn to drive stick on his new (to him) M5??

It's a 2001, which means it needs a clutch anyway, I bet, and it's probably on its 3rd or 4th set of back tires...
:D

M5s are sweet cars! I sat in a used 2000 M5 at my local BMW dealership two weeks ago, probably the most expensive car I've ever sat in (and I was not at all dissapointed).

You are just too lucky to be learning to drive in an M5! I've never even driven anything with over 160hp yet...

60 K US Dollars?? That's nuts :((((

The cheapest M5 E39 i can find in Germany is only 21K Euros.....why is it such a big difference??

EDIT: Forgot the most important part: ///M cars are my all-time favouritres 👍 Congratulations, man, you're really lucky 👍 👍

Thinking what my first car would be, maybe a E34 M5 for 4K Euros 👍

In the US, MY2000 M5s are wholesaleing for between 28k-35k USD. That's about 22k-28k Euro, if I remember the exchange rate. That's assuming a good car with ~60,000 miles on it. Retail asking price on a 2000 M5 is in the 35-40k USD area, but you can buy them all day long for under $35,000. I saw high milage example for 32k once and that was the asking price.

First of all, to clear one thing up, I'm not learning to drive standard on this car, i have driven many standard cars before, its just quite a jump since the most powerfull standard car I had driven before was a 250hp volvo 850. (as you can imagine a large 400hp car takes a bit of getting used to!)

as you may be able to tell, the car is in amazing condition, only 50,000 KM (thats right kms) and yes, the clutch has been replaced (by the previous owner), and we have bought new tires since we got the car..

And as for the price ,I would have to talk to my dad about how much we got it for, because I have no idea.

But it such a fun car to drive, i suppose I am pretty lucky because my dad lets me drive it quite bit, (he knows I am a very resposible driver...well most of the time anyway) I took it out last night to pick up a few of my buddys and my GF, the avrage person dosnt really care, but sometimes you will get these crazy people driving civics or sunfires, and they will be weaving through trafic driving like crazy trying to show off or race me, but i just laugh and ignore them :)

well, I thought I might post another pic, I thought looked really cool, i'm also posting a pic of my dads new bike! its a honda ST1300. Its big but still pretty fast!!

Not a big problem, but when I clicked on the link to see the video, it said it has expired. BTW, nice car 👍 !!! (*under breath* --> "you lucky 🤬")

Do you hate the BMW yet?

hell no! I love the car...didnt you used to own one??

yeah, it only hosts it for a week :( I would like to find a place where I could host videos for longer...

Nice car. Even nicer ST1300.

I love the bike, but I have to say I like the the M5 even more.. ...i guess i'm
pretty lucky my dad lets me drive them both :D

Oh and if anyone wants to know, the mirror in one of the pics belongs to my brothers daytona :yuck:
