Started out with a playseat style DIY rig, basically copied the playseat design.
Found it to be crap, lots of pedal flex, wheel base moves an inch in all directions.

Removed the wheel deck and pedal mounts, kept only the seat base. Build a new wheel deck with the pedals mounted inverted. Raised it up to be level with my LG HDTV

Already got it painted, just forgot to take pics:)
I'll be buying some caster wheels the lock to make it movable so It can get out of the way when needed.

Input? I'm not too happy with the way the inverted pedals are set up. I'm kind of liking the standard setup pedal better. My heels touch the floor too much with this setup, and help? The pedal faces are set as 90 degrees vertical. Is this too much angle? Thanks for looking!👍

Specs:
Original Recaro seat (no rails, will get soon)
Logitech G27
Modified shifter unit for more resistance and quieter shifting
Inspired by Wayside and Chilicoke!

Update: got it painted!

Going to add some spacers under the lower pedal mount to lessen the angle. I find it too steep. Also added a wheel stripe. Modified the shifter for more resistance too.

Love the lights.

Also got the spacers under the pedals installed and mounted the pedals on the lower hole making the pedals longer. Much MUCH better. What do you guys think of my screen and wheel height? I feel the wheel is too low. I don't see it when racing and I tend to look over and past it. Do you think I should raise the wheel up level with the bezel of the TV?

Thanks wajdi!

Anyone have any input on how high the wheel should be? I think it's too low that I don't notice it when racing! I don't notice the lights at all and it seems that my TV is too high? What do you guys think?

Look at my cockpit(signature) and you will see that I have the steering wheel in very high position, almost at the shoulder level! I love the modern GT cars and I have built my cockpit using a GT car cockpit's dimensions!

That's also the kind of style I'm looking for, What part of the wheel lines up with the shoulders?

Where you hold the steering wheel. Make a virtual line from the point where you hold the steering wheel to your shoulder!
