Started out with a playseat style DIY rig, basically copied the playseat design.
Found it to be crap, lots of pedal flex, wheel base moves an inch in all directions.
Removed the wheel deck and pedal mounts, kept only the seat base. Build a new wheel deck with the pedals mounted inverted. Raised it up to be level with my LG HDTV
Already got it painted, just forgot to take pics
I'll be buying some caster wheels the lock to make it movable so It can get out of the way when needed.
Input? I'm not too happy with the way the inverted pedals are set up. I'm kind of liking the standard setup pedal better. My heels touch the floor too much with this setup, and help? The pedal faces are set as 90 degrees vertical. Is this too much angle? Thanks for looking!👍
Specs:
Original Recaro seat (no rails, will get soon)
Logitech G27
Modified shifter unit for more resistance and quieter shifting
Inspired by Wayside and Chilicoke!
