Sorry for the slow downloads, MBnet is being slow arse today it seems.

Yeah, the FC's mine. Waiting for new rims..

Hmm...well you've certainly got some smoothness. and you're using feint pretty decently in some corners. However, your angles aren't quite there yet. I'm betting you use the bumper cam(as do I) so it seems like you're at a much higher angle then you really are. Don't be afraid to let the end out a little more. Like the corner you did in slo-mo on trial mountain. You can get a lot more angle on that corner and the one following it. Try not to counter steer too early. This will also decrease your potential angle.

All in all, a good offering. Keep the practice up and come back with some more!:)

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I'm sorta aware that my angles suck.. my drift sets are so damn spin-happy if I even slightly overdo the angle. But I'll get back to it and try to get some more angle to the drifts :)

This dualshock pad is driving me nuts btw. Too used to be drifting with a wheel in Live For Speed :indiff:

How do you find the realism of LFS compared to GT3? (and any of the GT4s if you've played them?)

I used to play LFS a while ago, but stopped when it became pay software. I have a friend who still plays it, though he's been doing more real life rally driving lately.

Well, imho, LFS is the best driving simulator and GT series are the best arcade games :) GT series aren't *that* realistic (flying escudo anyone?). LFS beats GT3 in physics apparently, but GT3 has more fun factor in my opinion.

Though twin drifting in LFS using all manual clutch with heel & toe technique can be pretty nice experience. Helps alot in real life too, I learned to heel & toe with my FC easily thanks to the practice from LFS.

The demo version with Blackwood track is free. Demo version has three cars, NA FF hatch, NA FR, and the turbo FR car. When I drift in LFS I mostly use the blackwood track and the FR turbo car (even though I've bought the S1 license), so drifting in demo can be experienced. Not to forget the S2 is out "soon"!

thanks for the comparison, you've got me interested in it again! :) you know i couldn't find anywhere on the LFS page that says what the demo does include? thanks heaps for your post, i'm downloading it now :sly: it's not really that dear anyway, considering what we'll pay for gt4 when it comes out!

sorry to hijack your thread, back to the drift video :D

man that clutch looks mad. so the game is compatible with the clutch? woah this game sounds mad. might try my gt force wheel on it

Edit: sorry i forgot to ask, does this game require a good video card? cos im using some really old video card that is pathetic.

that's a nice vid. but well.............nothing to say really 👍

Edit: I think I might picked the wrong vid. to play:dunce::dunce: :grumpy:
Edit2: Yeah, it was the wrong one, I'm downloading yours now 26kb/s

Well now I see your vid. I also think the angles are a problem, although I am a newby too, and I've got problems with my angles too, I CAN recognize if your angles are right or wrong. But I/we can try to help you out if you want. So maybe your right about your settings, maybe if you post them we can see and inprove things. :) Maybe others are better in helping, I am sure THEY will help you, and I'll help AS MUCH AS I CAN at least:tup:👍
