I choose the S2000 LM Race Car and this are my settings. These are no only drifting settings, but I tried to get a fast car to race the Pro. Level with.

This setting makes it very lose and aggressive in 1st and 2nd gear so a light thumb (foot) and good throttle control will make the drift easy. The good thing is 3rd gear and same times 4th will get you that drift you want under lots of power. The Power slid is also one of the easiest… take a long 3rd gear hear pin (like the one on the mid-field track after the bright) enter it normally and like 1/3 or half why throw the turn just floor it, when the back starts to break let go of the steering and the drift will push the care around the turn, to exit just counter steer and watch the throttle a bit.
Breaking a little later and turning in hard will stared the drift. Counter Steer.

If the care is too hard to drive, try the (small print settings), or just turning the TCS and ASM a little higher.

Read my Quote at the bottom off my post for inspiration.

I wide say, the control offer the power is the biggest problem. But try using the (small print) setting or more (higher) for better control. Or drop one stage turbo.

;)

Notes:

There is just so mach you can do with the settings to get the car almost perfect, and this is really a street racer not a dirt car. But I trade my best and same people well probable think these setting are ****.

In the suspension, there just is not enough up/down travel for a smoother drive. There is good contact with the dirt for grate turning ability, but from dirt to solid surfs like a wooden bright or roads, the car will jump impulsively out of control if the car is not straight on entrance. The same comply with the jumps

Over steer and under steer is another problem where I tried to get a somewhere in the middle. Tahiti Maze is my biggest problem, where on the street section the car have lots of under steer and in the hair pin I just cannot get happy with the over steer and the added stress off the power plants uncontrolled fiery. Dropping down on the turbo's (stage 2 or 1 and even to normal) for less power is advisable. Don’t forget the gear-adjustments

Good luck.

Not to be an ass but why would u want traction control when your trying to drift?

You should be the one controlling the traction, not the computer.
:D

Silvia'91 2000cc drift setting

Mods

All the best staff , power to abut 490 Hp
Sports Tyres all-round.
(But with less power I wound reducing the Wight to only a stage 2, it's better for the drift.)

Settings

Springs 5.0 / 7.0 {front / rear}
Height 89 / 89
Bound 5 / 6
Rebound 7 / 7
Camber 2.6 / 1.4
Rear Toe 0 / 0
Stabiliser 4 / 5

Brake balance 15 / 14

LSD Initial 12
LSD Accel 20
LSD Dec 10

With 260 Hp and lower, a higher LSD will make the car drift easer.
LSD Initial 14-18
LSD Accel 26-35
LSD Dec 12-18

Gears
Final 4.000 set this first
Auto gear level 28...
For a normal turbo set the auto gear to 23 and then higher to keep up with the upgrades (higher = top speed)

ASM, TCS

Ace drivers will have a lot of fan driving with zero assistants.
Good or self-named pro's will probably like to try it with an ASM 2 and TCS 1 setting.
Well for the beginner I'd say try ASM 6 and TCS 3.

Notes:

Well...
This car will definitely drift. Getting sideways is not a problem. But the breaking point for the 'spinout' is of great alarm, learning were this point is then pushing the car to the edge will take time.

The steering is fast to make the car get sideways but in the drift gantlines is needed so not to offer correct and lose the drift. This is more a fast corner drifter were you can slide the car sideway in to the turn with the breaks, then on the power to maintain a ‘power-slide’. It will also stay sideways till you correct it.

Then all I can say is. “If you don’t like the settings, go…”
I’m not so happy my self; I’m also thinking, get a 2nd opinion to help.
The car is difficult to tune that is why I took so long to posting this.

:D

I'm trying to set a user friendly car first. The ather drivers can then turn the computer off them self... to quote my self.

for a better drifting performance that you can turn good gripping ur car, used this setting, your camber is all 0, for good grip, ur toe angle are 0 too, need anything about drifting, ask me ok!!

DO U HAVE SETTINGS FOR AN ALTEZZA OR THE C-WEST RAZZO SILVIA???? IM AN ITERMEDIATE DRIFTER AND CAN DO PRETTY WELL, BUT THOSE 2 CARS TROUBLE ME!

do u hav any settingz for a rx-7 rs or rz?????ive tried so many different settingz but i still cant drift long coners with sims..... at speedz above er....mayb35 or 40mph.........:banghead:

ive been wanting to share this one and did so in another thread but ill say again for those who didnt visit it!

covette GRAND SPORT

hp: 770
full mods
asm: 2
tcs: 1

and thats it this car can really drift well. all you gotta do is throw it into a corner and not accelerate full out but enough to keep the wheels spinnin.

ps. i got all the way round the long midfield corner with this car and settings and im not great at drifting! :D

Hi...
Man I'm sorry for being so non-responding, but I had a restart :banghead: and need to get my garage full a gone.

The nice thing is I only use drift set-up to rice, this makes it hard and more fan. Also increase my technique.

Plus I only have Internet at work and this makes it hard to work and post.

Sorry!

Tips on Drifting - Just turn in at about 70 mph and dont break unless your going fast. E-brake into the turn helps making the drift look hradcore.

Have any of you poeple seen my 360 drift? You can see my 22B working it in Apricot Hill. If you havent seen it please check it out.
