It feels great first race then falls off after that.

Since we have just received patch #2 i will be working on some more settings for the Driving Force GT wheel.

I've got a few things in place and will be updating the thread sometime tomorrow night.
 
cool,let me know when u post your new settings,im kinda liking the default settings after patch 2.FF is great now!!,Steering lock at 360 and drift at 250,im still messing around alot with the settings...

I'm going to be working on my new settings tonight.I'm going to try out different cars just to make sure everything feels good.

@Everyone.Sorry for the delay with the new settings.I ended up watching the Nascar race last night and by the time i got home i had to be in the bed so i could be at work at 6am this morning.

I'll have some settings by tomorrow.

I only had to make some minor adjustments to my old settings.

Using these setting, they work great and the FFB is much better on 1.02 I really like this game now.

Good to hear your enjoying these settings and i agree the 2nd patch has really made this game great.
 
So I never got this game because I heard about the terrible lag issues when using a wheel. Have they fixed that via patches? Or do your settings fix the issue?

Regardless, thanks for sharing your settings. I might go rent this tonight.

EDIT: Also, if it was a patched issue (resolving the wheel input lag) does anyone know if I can download the patches while PSN is down?

The patches have fixed the issues of the steering lag and FFB loss issues.

Since each wheel is different, my settings helps make using the Driving Force GT Wheel an enjoyable experience.

As long as your PS3 is connected to the internet you can get the patches.PSN doesn't have to be up to get these patches.
 
One other thing.

I'm at the moment working on finding the best tire pressures to use for each drive-train.Once i get finished with my results i'll post them up for you guys to see.

So far i've got RWD and MRWD tire pressures figured out.I've got a busy weekend ahead of me(work) so it may be a few days before i can fully test to get the results.

Yes you can, the patches will show up when you try to start the game.
Use the settings you find in this thread to get started.
 
Apologies 'avin a blonde moment lol, where are the new DFGT settings from Starbird? Back on the PS3 version now thk god, XBOX version after the 2nd patch has eradicated FFB with the MS wheel :grumpy:

Been using these settings for a while now and like them very much. Tried to make some adjustments but only got worse handling so I just changed them back again. :p Very nice settings!
