and for all you ppl who moan at every creation.....i did it as a one doored car (there is only one door on drivers side) so dont go moaning at my first try
Not bad for a first chop, considering you are trying some harder stuff. All I did in my first chops were change the colors, lower the car, and tint the windows. That is, until I found this place.
thnx for the site but i already used those techniques for the lowering, tints and the carbon fibre bonnets.....i guess i was just lucky for realising the easy and professional way to do things
and i know its not great bonnet but i'll practice some more
i used a HPI Skyline R34 Radio Control Car spoiler
Make a smaller pattern. I use either 2x1 or 6x3. Those work better than 12x6. Unless its a 1600x1200 pic then you could use that. Otherwise, go smaller.
EVO:
Nice try. The spoiler needs to be more horizontal, it's sort of poking up at some wanky angle And you've gotta make sure you select the whole bonnet when carbon fibering (you missed off a section above the RHS light. BTW... please.... it's an Evo VII not an VIII.
Lexus:
Nice 👍 Try zooming in close so that the bonnet fills the screen when selecting around it for the CF, it's very jaggedy. Sorry if i sound like a ****
Have you got Adobe Photoshop? If so use the herringbone 2 pattern. I might get around to writting a quick tutorial, it won't be good, but it'll explain the basics for those n00bs (new people). Oh and if you're interested, a few of us chopped the Evo a while back https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/t-22737.html Go here for some inspiration
my ten minute nsx type-r .....is really is just soo badl rushed i'll maybe spend some time on it next time.....(by the way i was tryin to make it ugly by puttin some ridiculous colours in it)
