music stinks.. drifting was okay, could've drifted more turns.. kinda hard to see. fix the settings on your cam. or position it better, so its less blurry.

not bad extreme, really good video the music, not bad,I use alot of inital D OR japanese Techo music myself, and dont worry the picture blur, I use to use my webcam, long before I had the video card.so extreme kip up the goodwork.

Why do people think that just because its a drifting video means you have to drift EVERY turn?

Its like "Oh snap!! The track turns 30 degrees to the left! I need to swing my ass around almost about 75 degrees and drift through it!" even though it could easily be taken at full throttle.

It's a DRIFT video, in a DRIFT forum..... and to top it all off... the emphasis is on exhibition DRIFTing... so even the straights can be DRIFTed...

..... I rest my case.....

yeah i totally agree with layzeeboi u could have done alot more turns .... and your angles are okie....keep practicing 👍

I can't do a better angle and turns because if i drift the car angle to about 50 degree my car will take a long time to rev up again :( onli 275 bhp

by the way it's not a show off drift it's speed drift i'm trying to get as fast as i can

Oh, I'm sorry... I thought you are doing exhibition drifting... oh!...and also, speed drifting at 275hp? Hmmmmm...

who said you have to drift every turn? what we did say was that extreme car could have drifted more turns. it was meant to be a small tip on how to improve as a drifter and how to make a more interesting video. this drifting forum is here to help people become a better drifter.

i dont really see the point in speed drifting

exhibition is getting to easy, but speed drifting is something different and harder. you have to have really good timing, control, and technique or else you would end up in the walls or grass. it's just a step that helps improve your skills.

i liked the music, so cry layzeeboi, but you could've increased your angles and drifted big corners like the tunnel near the begining, to me it seems like you were scared to drift it like a fear of spinning out or something.

any initial d music shouldn't be used in a drift video.. its been done over and over.. just tired of hearing it. and as far as your suggestion, he said he was going for speed drifting.. meaning less angle, more speed. so it wasnt that he was afraid of spinning out.

Ok drifting I suppose. Just a small suggestion, (don't have to if you don't want to) telling the people who view your videos what type of drifting you're doing may have an impact on what they actually expect from the video. So that you may get more criticism on how to improve it, rather than people criticising everything you've done because they expected 'a lot more'.

Good Point

Since when is exhibition drifting easy? It takes the same amount of skill, timing, control and technique to exhibition drift as it does to speed drift. It's just a different type of drifting.

Right now, you're certainly riding the line between exhibition and speed drifting. You don' thave enough angle for exhibition and you're not fast enough for speed drifting. So, I guess what I'm saying is that you simply need to define your personal style. That's all.

i tottaly agree with you i tried exhibition drift and it's really hard MAKE IT VERY HARD! so that's why i choose speed drifting. when i drift i just floored the pedal and ballance it with steering and trying to get the rigt angle so i can go sideway and almost hit the wall :)

what kind of drifting style do you call that?

I don't, that's why I said he needs to get his own style....see? :)

work on ur lines more angle even with speed drift u can get a higher angle for a better exit dont start ur drift late if u speed drift enter early so u can exit the turn or corner faster those are my suggestions.. and if i were speed drifting i would up the hp a bit but thats my preference not your's with drifting like swift said to u to distiguish your drifting style whether it be for exhibiton or speed just drift on man it will all come together later

I thought if i had more angle the car will go slower on the exit :odd:

Increasing your angle as you exit the corner should set you up to be parrallel to the outside edge of the corner and this will enable you to floor it and not worry about sliding out. Infact, almost all forms of drifting are like this.

Remember, the fastest way to take a corner is slow in, fast out.

can you please use simple English because i'm kind of confused there

I thought that was simple.

Ok, increasing the angle through the corner sets up a better exit trajectory.
YOu'll be in a better spot to exit at full speed if you come off at a higher angle. Not extreme, but higher. Is that better?

Well, as long as someone got one of the points! :)

when you come out of a turn, your car should be parallel to the sides or a little less. let go of the gas a little so you can regain some traction. then gas it. my drift line is out, in, out. what i mean is that you start your drift on the outside, drift towards the middle of the turn, and exit on the outside.

about the exhibition and speed drifting. in speed drifting, your reaction time has to be much quicker and precise. exhibition is just slower with more angle.

Your first point. Absolutely correct. Your second, well I think it's a little uninformed.
Slower, usually. With more angle, certainly. But since there is more angle, that makes you have to have precise and quick responses. When driving on sims and entering a corner, decide you want to drift, then just throw the car into the corner and mash the gas. Well that's not going to work. You'll spin every time. You need precise throttle control and smooth countersteer to exit the corner correctly.

I don't think that either drifting style takes more skill. It's just different. That's like saying it takes more skill to drift then it does to grip, and it doesn't!
