Hi!

I'm a new member and i have make my first vid with a Aston Martin Vanquish V12

Click here with music (artist : The Prophets | title : Amazon-E)
or

I'm a noob in drift but I will like all the same your opinion on this first vid.

Thanks

Ok, first. Please don't .rar the files unless they're huge. This one was under 5MB so that's not a problem.

Second, not bad. However is seems that there is a LOT of weight to the vanquish. Did you do all the weight reduction on it? Looks to me that it was very difficult to achieve and maintain an signicant angle. I'm not ragging on you, just seems the car could use some serious tuning.

Keep practicing. Looks like you've got a very good start. :)

Hey nice job. 👍

Yeah please don't use .rar files. some people can't even open them. plus it made the file bigger by 1mb.

Well any ways i can see that your a speed drifter. Its that or what Swift said. Nice job on your first vid. A couple things you need to do is, work on your suspension settings, it seems to be really tight. other then that you seem to be doing just fine.

Keep drifting

Couldn't have said it better myself

Thank you :)

My car is on level 3 of the suspensions. In made, my car is completely regulated. You find that the angle that I make with my car is bad?

Ok, a few more questions. What's your HP? and have you done the weight reduction.

And please DO NOT mix tires. It's just plain not good and hurts your learning curve with drifitng.

786 Hp and i have all weight reduction (3)

All my cars are with front : T8 and behind : T6 only my Mazda RX-7 (front : T8 behind : T7).

Hmm...ok. Since the Vanquish is one of the heavier cars. Even the 786 isn't going to be much up againt T6's.

If you really would like to become better at drifting, start with a not so exotic car. I know it sounds clitche. But it's really much easier. The Vanquish is cool but, really heavy and since you've got fairly sticky tires, you're going to have a very hard time acheiving the desired angles. Unless of course you want to get into speed drifting.

If you'd like to read about mixing tires check this thread. It will help explain it. Better then I could.

Delphic Reason's explaination of why mixing tires is not good.

I just noticed something about your settings VirginBlood. You have the TCS set to 2. Take this off! I used to have mine set to 1 just because it made it much easier to recover when I spun out. And that was often when I was starting. However, all the TCS does is cut power from your engine when the tires are spinning. The exact opposite effect that you want while drifting.

So set the TCS to 0. I think this will give you an easier time.
