Hes backed it up before but forgot he had done that before getting the other save.
Too late now... Why did you even start this thread?

And I mean I know people who use saves with all cars and millions of dollars without having to do anything hard.
Can't your friend just put his backup save on a new account? Or no...?

So what you're saying is this:

(Person names are there to make it easier)

1) Joe's (your friend) main save got corrupted.
2) Joe uses Billy's (the person that gave Joe the save) hacked save on his account.
3) Joe gets banned for using Billy's hacked save on his account.

Is that correct?

Yeah thats what someone told him. It's not a hard lesson, he will get his game save back if he has to break some rules, it's not impossible. Or he will get a full game save with all cars, I know people that know how to do that too. So guess what? It's not a hard lesson and he won't think twice next time.

You know people how to fix savegames? where the "getting tricked" there?
You could have warned your friend.

I leave it there, i just changed my mind about this whole story..I don't believe "tricked" and "wrongfully" anymore.

This is from my understanding of the situation is what has happened.

Well he c an play with 20 million dollars and a full garage full of cars then.
But be stuck with no online. What will he do then with the game complete and every car earned with no access to online? He'd get bored in mere days

Gamesaves are locked to the account, so no. You can remove this with a third party application (I think Datel had one) but they usually cost money.

Of course there's a simple solution to corrupt save game data. Delete it. GT6 will then boot up from the backup file it creates automatically. It's right there in the save game data list and even includes the phrase "(Backup)" in its description. No need to accidentally boot up a hacked game save...

And given the ongoing nature of this thread and the discussion of the use of hacked saves this thread steps over the AUP and into locked.
