I just turned on my ps3 normally and then it brought me to a legal screen I agreed, all my data deleted and I can't upload my saved data from Psp what is going on here????
Shame man, but why don't people here back up their saves to a USB???
I do![]()
Everytime I play I back it up. Sorry about your luck man
thats ****ing stupid
in this day and age i shouldnt have to spend 3 minutes backing up my save file every time i play
this is the fault of PD / Sony. it should NOT be a players responsibility to back up their save file. thats rediculous

I don't know what day and age you live in, but in current time, where I live, there is no such thing has hardware that doesn't fail, software that doesn't fail, or humans that don't fail, and that's why geeks invented backup utilities. If you have time to play it, you have time to save it.
seriously what the hell is going on?
some guy is wondering if gt6 should be free and now we have got someone saying it's sony/pd responsibility to back up a player's file.
the sense of entitlement is astonishing to say the least.
save files could be stored on servers. granted this would require an internet connection, but lets face it, how many of you guys are still playing launch gt5 without internet?
not to mention that theres no reason why a ps3 has a traditional hard drive. an SSD would basically end this problem altogether.
when did i say its their responsibility? i said it shouldnt be my responsibility to protect my save file

Firstly, PlayStation Plus allows you to back up saves online, no way ANYONE is going offer a feature like that free of charge, the costs are too high and it would have to apply to every game.save files could be stored on servers. granted this would require an internet connection, but lets face it, how many of you guys are still playing launch gt5 without internet?

....which is why I copy over my old data everytime I play. When I play I dont usually BS, I make money and buy several cars. Why would I want to do that again if it only takes me a couple seconds to copy it??You don't have to back it up everytime you play.
You just have to back it up every now and then, unless you're hell bent on never missing a days progress, then back it up everyday, it's not 3 minutes and it's not hard.🤬 happens.

Indeed, no reason in this day and age that there can't be a free PD-server backup of the game data, daily.
Insulting to have to pay anything for a basic function like that.
Thank you...another intelligent, not lazy person is here. Btw, tested it, and it took me 9 sec total to copy and transfer my data. Made me mad though cause I had something I was suppose to do at 7 secs. Stupid Sony making me take care of my own crap. When I back up my GT5 and other game saves to my USB, it literally only takes me seconds. And I do this every time I exit a game. It's not hard people.
haha...I like this guy/girl. lol, I gotta stop posting in this thread now. It annoys me by what people think they are entitled to.You might as well blame gravity for making you fall over!

This should make losing data impossible
