Mine looks similar. It's a desk that I put together from some spare wood. I use it with a computer chair. G27. Works wonders, but I wouldn't mind an eventual upgrade.

Awesome, I'm hoping to get it a stand soon. There's lots out there so will take quite some research. Thankfuly theres very useful threads on the matter here.

i bolted mine to a dead pig... its starting to smell now, to be fair though its been there 3 months. THAT'LL DO PIG.. THAT'LL DO

Wow, I think the lowest I would go is a dead tree stump. Take an axe to it and chip out a notch to clamp the wheel down.

P.S. I don't get the joke?

You could have roasted the pig... at least you would have been able to have a snack while you are racing...

Oh the good old William Goldwing tale... it's been a while, but still.. weird.

Lol ya every once in a while I'll hear someone use that quote just randomly.

That's prob what he does. During all the loading screens just reaches down and and eats a couple pieces.

It's a constantly evolving thing. It was even more ghetto when I first put it together...

Wifey insisted all that scrap wood be covered as to not leave splinters all over the house, so she got out the hot glue gun and staple gun and attached an old blanket to it.

And here's Revision 2:
ps3rig1.jpg

My daughter striking a pose... I removed the two side wooden pieces and cut half-circles out of the sides of the cockpit to make getting in and out easier. Yes, that's a bird perch hanging off the left side. The bird loved to watch me race.

Revision 3 included cutting off the "wings" entirely, taking off the blue blanket, replacing the DFGT with a G27, and adding a mount for the shifter assembly.

Revision 4 is the first set of pictures posted. Added the used but new-to-me 32" Polaroid 720p LCD to the unit. I no longer have to move the thing around, it's got a place in the living room all to it's own.

Haha thats awesome! years from now your daughter is going to see that pic and say, "you made me pose next to that?!" i am glad you did though, i like when people include family members in their pics, it is a welcome addition that reveals more of a personal side. i have a daughter too

If a camera is turned on, she's making sure she's in front of it...
