I thought there was a hobbies section, but I cant seem to find it. Anyway, heres a video of me riding down my street on my Goped Sport. I was hoping that someone would be interested, and/or also be a gopedder like myself. The scooter is basically a Sport model with a Zenoah G230RC engine, and a long drive .800 spindle with a 3rd bearing support.

Stock, this particular model has just over 1hp. The engine on it now has just under 3hp. Spindles are measured in .xxx inches. Stock its a .625 and the one I have is a .800. I gps'ed it with a phone the other day, and I was hitting exactly 30mph.



Hmmm, it appears that the video is not yet processed. I'll try again later to get it going.

When you make a new thread (in the Rumble Strip), you have the choice of a prefix (it's to the left of the title).

The prefixes are:
Youtube
Funny,
Questions aaaaaaannnd,
Hobbies.

Unfortunately, ya gotta do it before the thread is made... so I guess you can't.
A Scooter/Goped/Moped/Bike-with-moter with 1hp? Doesn't seem like much...

Wait... just Googled Go-Ped... ahhhh, OK.

Incorrect. Boz can edit his first post and add the prefix in.
 
The rich kids in my neighborhood had gopeds. They were fun to ride, but I never really pushed it. One of them was going near 30mph one day and then the front wheel or handle assembly fell off or something. Dude was a walking meatflap after that.

I havent fallen yet knock on wood. I have been riding scooters like this since I was like 12 or 13 and I have only fallen on previous ones 2 times. Those were not nearly as fast as this one.
