My GT-ONE's turning feels weird

Yes, the buttons on the DS2 are pressure sensitive. It just take very smooth control to work them. A simple test is to run the machine test. Press lightly on the button to see how the accelerator reacts (in other words, only press halfway). Then try again with full force on the button.

You should see a difference. If not, you may not be using a DS2, but rather a first generation analog controller. Which very well could be the problem, forcing you to run such a high TCS and ASM.

Maybe he should try using the Dual analog stick method of controll. That way it's a bit easier to regualte the throttle comming out of corners and it should make it easier with standing starts.

I never use TCS, well apart from on SSR11 with cars around the 900bhp mark. And ASM just causes the car to understeer when you are trying to push the car nearing it's grip limits.
 
Actually, I put my GT-ONE's ASM at level 11, and my TCS at level 8. I did it the other way around :banghead:
