First of all i'd like to say that the physics are 100% better. The car seems to actually require car control now and its easier to spin out under throttle which is more realistic. This probably means that instead of buying 8 million cars at a time and being able to do flawless laps with them will not be the case. You'll probably have to sit down with each car after you buy it and learn to drive it. Its not just the driving physics either its also the collision physics. In any previous gran turismo if you hit a wall at an angle you would just bounce off of it. This demo showed that the collisions are now realistic. No more bouncing. I hit a wall at an angle with the front of my car and instead of just bouncing off of it the front of the car caught the wall and i started spinning.

The Graphics are only slightly better than GTP but one thing i have to really give props to is the reflections on the car. Especially with the black 370Z you can see everything reflected perfectly from the Blue and White rumble strip to the signs over head. Theres no damage in this demo but as long as i know it will be in the full game i'm fine.

There is only one complaint i have and this applies to almost all GT games. Everytime you spin out in the grass you all of a sudden have limited throttle control. This is not a setting you can turn off either. I race with the newest GT wheel that is out and with all assists off and still this happens. Now i know that this help you keep traction while in the grass but sometimes when spinning in the grass i like to keep spinning the tires to make the car spin back around. its a smalll but annoying feature that i wish they could make optional.

All in all this is an excellent demo that is setting up for an excellent game.

(BTW who ever got the 1:35 lap time with the tuned 370Z is a monster)
