My GT5 freezes so much

When I go to play a lot of the time, in the loading part of a track it freezes. This is almost constant in the game. It is the only game that does this with my ps3. Any advice or knowledge of whats causing this?

Test the disc on a friends ps3

If it freezes, the disc is the problem

GT5 isnt supposed to freeze anytime
Mine never had problem, im aspec 33 and bspec 37

disc hasnt left my ps3 really. So it should be fine shouldnt it.

Try "signing out" of the PSN. I have found that when my game gets "lagged" or becomes very slow to respond if I sign out of the PSN it goes away immediately.. There is a lot of "online" content in GT5, depending on how often it tries to refresh info(from wherever) I'm convinced it "slows down" the gameplay of GT, especially in between menus and screens. Never been a problem... unless your talking online then it's the servers or other people that mess it up

SAME HERE i tried everything i read on the internet.. nothing happened...
still freezes, i lost my save data 20% completed last night (

Pls any advice? i want to play and i cant lose my save again.

Yes. All game data was installed right when I bought the game. Before playing it I installed the 8gb package.

Delete network cache.

Then delete install data and reinstall.

That solved most of my issues with races crashing and being stuck at the gt logo screen.

Probably some corruption has occured when the game has crashed, which is making the ame crash more!

I think that is only on the loading screens that is the problem?

My game has started to freeze sometimes too, most recently it did yesterday when I was going to change car before a B-spec race... And NO, it has absolutely nothing to do with being online, doesn't help and I HAVE tried it, just think it occurs if you change too much between races and the main menu (GT Life), PS can't keep up with it.
