My GTA3 project (PC)

I realise that everybody here is into VC now, but if you have the PC version of gta3, you most likely have downloaded the mods.

Well i happen to be working on one myself, its a Lexus IS 300. Its coming along well, here are some pics:

I know the problem with the lights and ive already fixed it. The textures are off, i know that too, but i have yet to find better ones.

The interior has since been updated (As of 5 minutes ago) and i am working on the center console in the car.

Wow that looks amazing!

How do you make the models like that, I can even see a resemblence in the interiors of my parents IS200. Do you have to model the whole thing yourself, or is there a basic model that you can add textures to?
 
I used zmodeler and pictures as reference.

Its not really all that hard, its just time consuming, you have to model the whole thing yourself. Sometimes its a pain in the ass. :\

Hmm, havent thought about that yet.. Probably red, black white, blue and orange/gold..
 
Lets say for instance, you made a car with lights and **** all over the dashboard, and really complicated and stuff. Would it slow down your computer when it drove by?
 
Hey, do you know any english sites where i can download good models of cars gt2_gs?
 
A few, but i really reccomend gta3.net, even though its german. Its pretty easy to know where you are. :p

BTW, if you would like to follow this project further, i have it on www.gtaforums.com ... i update it alot there, its under the gta3 >> modification showroom >> vehicles forum.

I can't seem to download some of the files. Do you have any links for your favourite cars?
 
Then do you know where i could get the special "wheels mod" that it says i need?
