My MR2. Random AW11 content inside.

Not much but enjoy it. I just put some 16 inch Advans on it but thats all for now I think... Pics of those to come later.

How many miles are on it? Is it slower than my car? Has it spun out yet? Is the interior super clean? Trade? How much you want for it?

EDIT: Nevermind, I couldn't fathom going from 4-piston monoblocks to rookie single floaters.

It has 141,700 miles on it. It has the dohc 2.2l. The interior is mint. No rips, tears or stains. Non smoker car. It has a Kenwood head unit with USB/Ipod hookups and a Sony amp/sub behind the passenger seat.

I just put on my set of Advan SA3As. It looks very meaty now... Wheels are 16x7 and 16x8 +32 and tires are 225/45 & 245/45. I'll take pics of the car with them on later.

They aren't my plates. I titled the car in my name today and I will get my new plates in the mail in a couple weeks. I have a temp plate for it right now but I haven't bothered to put it on yet.

Have you driven the '86 MR2, Time Attack?

If so, how would you compare it to your present MR2? I have a good friend with the '86, and I've driven it. I'm considering purchasing another small sports car some time soon.

Respectfully,
Dotini

I've had 2 87 MR2s (more or less the same for the suspension) and they are fun but a touch soft Dotini.

And T_A, WOOOO CAMRY POWER.

Everyone makes the 5SFE out to be a dog but I don't think its that bad. Its reliable and has enough torque to get you around comfortably. I've owned slower cars that is for sure.

Now of course I've driven the '86. I've had mine since march of 2008. Its pretty reliable and fun. It has a shorter wheel base and no power steering so it feels a little more nimble. There isn't much torque and its not as comfortable.

Looks nice and clean and straight for its age. Now, go out and put some cone marks on it!

Oh how I've wanted an SW20 MR2...now that I don't have passengers to drive around maybe I could consider swapping the Skyline for one instead of buying new wheels for it...

Nice example, the Advans set it off well!

I've got an ST204 with the 5SFE, I feel the same way. It isn't going to win any awards, but it gets the job done, and grabs some decent fuel economy while doing so.

Indeed. I haven't had it to redline yet but it pulls just fine. Gear ratios are good and I don't have to shift down driving around town if I don't want to yet on ramps aren't an issue.

I'm not sure what you're going on about but three spoke wheels are where its at. I absolutely love Advans. I have SA3Rs on my AW11 and these SA3As on the SW20.

I'm somewhat highly active on MR2oc. Mostly selling and buying parts here and there. Its a great site.

I like your cars color. I briefly had a '93 turbo. It drove but was hit before I bought it. I took what I wanted and parted out the rest. I've also parted out a '91 turbo. Those 3S-GTEs are damn fun but can be very problematic so I'll be sticking with the 5S-FE for some time.

I didnt like the color at first but its one that grows on you. I love it though because Im one of the few that have that color. Im debating on the 3SGTE or a V6 swap the the 3VZFE. reason why im skeptical about the 3S is because of the problems you would have with a turbo, as for the 3VZ, idk if id be able to finish the project as i dont know about anything when it comes to swapping engines. Its a daily driver but theres nothing wrong with getting more power ^_^

A stock 3S is a fun engine. A lightly modded 3S is a really fun engine. The problem is they aren't cheap nor common so whens something breaks its going to cost you a lot.

The V6 on the other hand while it won't make the same power they're so cheap and reliable its silly. They're not exactly slow either. Have you looked at the 1MZ? The 3VZ is a older engine these days and finding one with low miles that was taken care of is pretty hard. The 1MZ on the other hand while a little more expensive they can be had with lower miles a lot easier.
