Wondering what else I can hook into the line-in (I'm cheap so my car didn't come with M$ Sync). What exactly can I hookup in the line-in? Is there such a thing called a line-in to USB hookup so maybe I could use a flashdrive for music in my car?

A headphone jack from an mp3 player to the line-in of the car would work (a cable like this). As for a USB drive, I'd be pretty surprised if it worked.

I bought this radio for my wife's car:

Pioneer - 50W x 4 MOSFET Apple® iPod®/Satellite Radio-Ready CD Deck Model: DEH-P4000UB

She has an older Ipod (Gen 3???) and this model Ipod one only hooks up to this radio via the Auxiliary Input in the face of the unit. This unit also has a USB cable which comes out of the back of the radio and into the glove compartment.

My daughter's newer Ipod can play on this radio via either the Aux Input, or through this USB cable with the dock connector attachment (I think that's what it is called).

The thing that I like the most about this radio, is that even though it will playback all types of CD media, we don't have a single CD in the vehicle. You can get an 8GB flash drive for example, download MP3s into that, hook it up to the USB cable in the glove compartment, and listen to music for as long as you can stand it.

There must be better radios around, but I think that this particular radio is well worth the price we paid for it, and we did not get it at Best Buy.
