Looks like a great car, I've always loved that generation of the MR2. The mini Ferrari :)

ferarri_Chris: for an american market vehicle, that's amazing. usually, the've been so saturated with anti-skid material, winter road salt, and giant piles of KM between areas.

US made cars generally peter out at 160k engine wise, then the frame at 320. (KM) i should know, the LOWEST miles I've had on one of my vhicles at purchase was around 140k
Did you get what I was saying?

I was saying that your 320,000mi converts into 515,000km - a bit more than the 400,000 you first guessed.

Very nice car, looks tidy and it's in such a nice colour too, fairly subtle. I think you should go down the subtle route;

Rue
Maybe a little black carbon lip spoiler on the bootlid would set it off.

👍

You got yourself a great car dude, you don't see those no more on the road (maybe in other countries you see them a lot), although there is one person that owns a white MR2 around where I live, but haven't seen it in a while. My mom doesn't like the looks of the MR2 but then again she doesn't know much about cars . I wish this car was still in production, it just breaks my heart to see one of Japan's greatest cars to just have it's neck cut off :(

I automatically converted miles to kilometers, and it looks like you automatically converted kilometers to miles. i think we threw each other off :P

and i know of a 350k MILE toyota that was only recently sold

sorry i havn't been on in a while guy's, and sorry bout the text lingo. Havn't been typing or anything for a while. Yea the pictures were captured with my phone so there pretty crappy. looks alot better in life. the silver has a real nice metalicy flake in it. Yea i don't know about the wheels but not to sure what else would suit it and fit lol. Its running 10psi atm. im pricing up some headers for it atm and gona have high/ low boost 8/12psi.just installed a oil pressure guage and moved the air/fual ratio into the old loghter socket(took a bit of sanding and filing lol. i'll take some descent and interior pics soon. also just put some iridium plugs and champion leads and a turbo timer in it($350 later:P) getn the paint on the front lip and the back skirt touched up next.

Thanks for all the comments guy's:)

thanks i love it to bits aye. And its runing 11psi. Thort it was 10 but had a 30psi guage and couldn't read it to well. Put a 20psi guage in it since and its alot easier to read.

Looks clean but I think you need to wash the car a little more. :p Either that or you really have a crappy camera.....

God I love that avatar.

See pg 1 reply#6

Do you really have to say that many times?
If you ever want to comment or droll on my avatar, do it in my profile. 👍 Besides, I'm abandoning this avatar soon so you can have it. ;)

thanks guys:) Having trouble with my digital camera so descent pics might be a little while sorry.

Welcome to club MR. And the 93 has the revised rear suspension so you are less likely to kill yourself with it.

Which is good, I presume.

Like the lack of a rear spoiler as well. Sleepy pop-ups have never worked for me though... just feels like it ruins the lines of the car...

No... That's a horrible thing. why would you want to stay alive for any reason? The lemmings have things all figured out. I say take the MR and drive off the nearest cliff....

Joking BTW, I think it's a great car. I'm more of a celica man myself but that is a great car.

ok have it in peices atm(debre through turbo...not nice to impelors:()and have found quite a few goodys:D oh and the ct26 is going from a 0.40trim to a 0.50trim and geting all steel garet internels(shaft wheel's).

The wheels look better now IMO. Are you going to change the management? Just curious because of the turbo upgrades surely you are going to go looking for more power sooner or later.

thank's yea i didn't really like the wheels before, look to f40 replica'ish. dont have any intention to atm, getn it dyno tuned and winding boost up to 15-16psi(1 bar). Should be back on road by the end of next week. will hopefully get a vid up(3 mile hill run or the like)

some descent pics, incl interior

Good for the MR2, but i hate that machine. Yours looks in classy condition however.

Looks to be in good condition. I'm not a huge fan of MR2s but this one doesn't look too bad. Do I dare ask what the single red button on the steering wheel is for? ;)

thanks for all the positiv feedback guy's. I used to hate mr2's aswell to be honest(hairdressers cars:P) but saw this one and just had to have it lol. Neve thought they would be so qick though. Havn't got the new turbo or headers on yet but even stock with just the downpipe and RS*R exhaust it has beaten its fairshare of skylines and evos.

and that button.....do you really wana no?....you beter sit down for this one........

its the airhorns:D

The wheel's hideous, but otherwise, sick car. Looks good without the spoiler, but I think I prefer it on. Good luck with it 👍.

Nice ride man, de-spoilered looks weird to me but am too accustomed to seeing them with spoilers. Have you joined up on ToySpeed(.org.nz)?

Haven't seen this around town, but don't get out that much. You seen either of my cars around? Had the GTS in the Autospectacular a couple of weeks back. :)

You have to use your ISP e-mail account thingy as they don't allow peeps to register with free e-mail addys for spam reasons. My brother (he's got a Mk.IV Supra) is still waiting to be approved i think, but i can send an admin a PM for ya if things aren't getting sorted out. :)

Look what i spotted today when going to book a Warrant of Fitness appointment for the GTS: :p

Looks nice in person anyway, and had a sneak peak in your engine bay since the cover was off. :) :dopey:
