After a wide work break, I'm have finish my new Wheel-modification.

In this Wheel, I'm have build in, a Megatron Analog Angle Sensor SFCP22 (with Ball bearings) . ( This Pod, normally is inserted for industrial Servosystems and Robotic . )

I'm try it tomorrow and I'm hope, the Wheel work much better than before

(Keep fingers crossed)

wow...i wish i had the initiative to do something like that. way cool, dude! hope it works.

Thanks

Yes, it works much more precise than before .
And to drive a longer time, isnt so exertive ! ( Much moore relaxed )

This modify, I'm never will to miss.

The Razo Silvia make's rightly fun now :D

I'm think, the next step, is to change the Pedal - Pot's
But there needn't so high priced Potentiometers.
I'm have to try out two 50K Ohm "SPECTROL modell 249" Pot's
Although the Pots-value not identic, ther isnt occurred a electrical problem.

But I'm dont will do this Mod, before my original Pedal-pots not defect.
( I'm think there isnt a big sensible betterment after this Mod. )

The old one isnt bad, but the Megatron has a moore homogenous linearity and it is quasi jitter-free .
( And a life-span, from ca. 20 millions motions )

If the original Logitech Potentiometer used a longer time,
the output Values "maybe" not everytime identic by the same mechanical-position.

A little animation on the Potentiometer shaft, adulterated the correct electrical-Value for this position.

( And the Shaft is in action everytime ! )

I'm think, that's all differences .

Oh, I'm forgot, the Megatron to glitter better

By the way, that's a Photo from a original Logitech GT Force Wheel - Potentiometer .

It dont looks orotund, but it isnt bad !

WOW! Kudos to you werner. You have created something I would have never had the guts to do. I hope your creation gives you tons of success and that you enjoy every minute of it. Yet again, CONGRATS!!!!

It's like a modified steering wheel, i guess.
