I have a HUGE problem with my nissan r92cp, i have tuned it to 1155hp and when i take it to circuits like the Sarthe where there is a slight turn on the long straight, i turn slightly and the car COMPLETELY looses control and veers straight to the barrier and if i try to correct it with a bit of countersteer the car whips back in the other directon. The car is totally undrivable at speeds above 210 mph.
I also have the same problem with my mazda 787B but not as extreme.
I have maxed the downforce on the front and rear and also toed in the back wheels to -1 but hasnt helped much. I dont want to completely toe the back wheels in because the tyres will wear out quicker.

Can anyone please help me with this problem. I have a feeling the solution lies in the suspension or LSD

If it helps both the cars are 2nd hand black cars but have had the rigidity and rollcage done to them :) .

Please post your other settings as well. May be many things, Spring rates or LSD, Maybe even bottoming out.

If you did the rollcage before the refresh your car may be perminantly stuck un-rigid. Other then that, maybe the car is bottoming out? Have you changed any settings besides the ones you listed?
Those cars should be dead stable at that speed, with all the downforce they generate (and you've maxed it out, too).
Wait, I know, are you someone's B-spec driver? They tend to spin out on LaSarthe for no reason. :p

Optimal camber for me is 2.6/1.5, but it is not part of your problem.
TCS: to 4 (all you need)
ASM: off if at all possible
Tires: use R5

Change to these settings and your problem is cured; let's hear how it worked.

R5. Are they racing hard or even racing qualifing! If they are either, then the tyres will wear out quicker than i want or MUCH quicker than i want.
But i will try your settings soon. Thanks

My mistake. Racing hard or R2 is the best tire to use for all but the shortest races. I have found that the trouble with using racing super hards does not justify their extended lifespan. Remember that once you get about 25-30 seconds ahead of the pack then it doesn't matter how long your tires last because you can pit and get back out ahead of them. Sometimes mediums can do that for you, since they warm quicker and allow you to pull ahead sooner...

Hey guys thanks for your feedback but im very ashamed because i havent tried anyones settings yet! :O :( :guilty: :guilty:
Not because i dont apreciate your input but i have had exams during the week and on the weedend i have been to 2 weddings. My lifes a bit hectic these past coulple of weeks but somehow i have managed to fit in 3 hours of GTplanet a day :D :D
