Very nice on a PC monitor but on a TV the difference is not so great. This is because a PC monitor can be viewed close up and is also engineered with more precision.

But anything will look horrible on an LCD monitor, so stick with CRT.
 
ummm not really. yeah top of the range CRT is amazing but a good TFT will do really fine. thats what i use and u can safely compare it to a quality CRT.

sweet setup mate. ill be getting steering wheel soon, but ill just be shoving it somwhere, i used to have setup for GT3 but i lost interest in it.
 
Nice set up. I agree racing seats are over the top, but they are cooler than regular chairs or car seats. For people that think they are ridiculous to use for a game...maybe, but they are super comfy. If i had the money and room to make a setup like that, i'd use a racing seat too. It just adds to the experience.

hey i like the die-cast collection in your first pics. Thats what my room looks like, surrounded by race cars.

LCD screen needs to be lower so your line-of-sight is more horizontal. Looking up, even just a little bit, will eventually make your neck sore after long races.

Acutally, I have a standard component/composite to VGA converter that I purchased from Fry's Electronics. It does not require the use of the computer what-so-ever.

Could you post some more info on this? (Model, Price, your experience with it...). I'm interested in one of those, but I haven't been able to find one that convince me. I check in Fry's but no items that resemble your description (standard component/composite to VGA converter).
 
Does anyone know what other seats work the Spacro Racing Cockpit Pro? The website says only Sparco seats, but it seems like you can fit other types of seats as well from looking at 94Lude's pics.
