Well, it's been a year and two days, but it's been my one year anniversary here recently...*sniff* Thanks to all, and especially Jordan for making such a great site...:D (Also been milefile's one year anniversary yesterday...:p)

Milefile hasn't been active for a full year has he? Has not seemed like it anyway.

Congrats to the both of you for sticking around.

Congrats guys.

I don't even know how long I've been here anymore.

Well, in two weeks (July 24th), you will have been here 2 years. :)

Congrats DtV and milefile!

Hey, I missed the occasions. Congrats, guys.

I'll pass on a note of congratulations.

It seems that we are getting a few more regulars that stick around for a while. Rare to see in this day and age where everything is so fleeting and spur of the moment.

What exactly are you talking about?

No, about this being an "age where everything is so fleeting and spur of the moment"... I don't really see why.

Well, it's true. Everything these days is about getting things fast... fast-food has obviously gained huge popularity, drive-throughs, instant microwavable foods, the Internet instead of going to a library, you can get instant access to anyone via cellphone, etc. etc.

That is all true. But I think it opens up vistas to some people and gives them more choice of where to stick around. It can go both ways.

Well, yeah, I never meant to put a negative connotation on it. :) I was just explaining it to GC.

Well, i suppose so. But that doesn't seem to have much to do with people staying at GTP for more than a year... :)

It's a sort of elite club, sticking around for a year (or more). You seem to notice that for every one-year member, there's about 50 others that don't stay for more than a week.

Congrats, you two.
