My posts seem to be appearing a little bit more underneath the Post Header than other people's.

EDIT: Now another problem. My "Manage Attachments" button won't work, and neither will the Smilies on the side (I usually don't use them, I know most of the commands for them, but I was testing). I think it's Firefox...

Now it's screwed...Maybe because for this one you used quick reply and the other one you used the normal reply thing (because you were making the thread), that's my guess at why it's weird.

Yeah, I think you're right. This is done with "Go Advanced", so we'll see if this works.

By the way, I don't want to have to use "Go Advanced" all of the time. Hopefully Jordan can fix this. It's one of those tiny things that really bug you.

Not-so-Quick Reply test post.

No - it looks like it's just you, Jimmy. Curious.

Notice, the posts of yours that do have the gap have an empty set of QUOTE tags on the line above your post. I'm guessing this is caused by the quick reply feature in the GTP Lite style. Do you use GTP Lite to post some of your messages?

Nope. In fact, I don't recall even testing out GTP Lite. I've never used it.

I did also notice when I went into "Go Advanced" after typing a couple of words in "Quick Reply", that it had that empty Quote.

Is there any way to fix this?

I see it again WTF?
*EDIT* Its in that post which I quoted. Just above mine.

What browser are you using, Jimmy?

Firefox. I know many people that use Firefox on here, and they don't get anything of the like. Including Blake.

And me.

Have you updated to Firefox 1.0, out of curiosity?

I'm still using the older version of Firefox, and I have never had this problem, at least not that I have noticed it.

I'm using Firefox 1.0 and I can see the gap quite clearly. I'm just wondering if's to do with the browser or the site.

Edit - Now I'm getting the gap as well. I just noticed it above this post.

There, I edited Matthew - happy?! :irked:

Kidding, of course. But you must have jinxed me regarding the gap, or something. Damn you! A curse upon your head!

OK, I've given this to the vB developers. We'll see what they have to say.

You know mate, this doesn't really bother me. I just thought I'd point out that I have a gap between the post itself and the line; I'm quite cool to continue posting away. As it is I never notice it.

👍

This might be due to Firefox 1.0, as my older version doesn't seem to have this "problem".

OK, one developer has suggested that it could be a Firefox extension that is causing this problem. Disable all of you extensions and see if you can still replicate the problem.

Yes, you/Jimmy will have to get them again, but that is what must be done if you want to try and fix the problem.

Fixed the problem. I feel like an idiot for not thinking of this. I cleared my Cache, because I had a very strange problem that I could Screenshot you for a laugh. I fixed that, and in the process, it fixed my post problem. I also emailed Firefox, and they said the same thing about the extensions. Lucky I didn't. :dunce:

thats good to hear, i wonder if jared clears his cache, will his gap go away

Hmm, except mine didn't "automagically" stop. It continued until I cleared my Cache. I would very much like to know what triggers this, though.

The four posts before this one appear to be doing that. How very odd.

EDIT: And mine too!

EDIT (again): No, wait, you guys are talking about something different. I see that as well, but there is something else happening. The line that seperates the time stamp and the body of the post is at a different level. But that just has to do with the "new" icon.
