So finally after months of putting it off I decide to try and complete the S. Vettel Special Events. After about an hour I complete the Suzuka circuit challenge in gold. I received the xp and the cash but when I went to back out to the main menu I didn't receive anything. I'm really ****** about what just happened to me. Has this happened to anyone? And if it has is there anyway to retrieve my prize cars?

You need to do the whole set. Nurburgring, Monza and Suzuka. Not just one

You golded Suzuka? Congratulations. I hope the other two golds aren't as hard (they shouldn't be but to each its different). As the prior poster mentioned you need to complete all 3 at Gold to get all 3 cars.

complete all 3 at Gold to get all 3 'things'

Fixed for you. :sly:

Congrats on golding Suzuka.
I would think Monza is the easiest and since you've golded Suzuka, Monza would probably be a walk in the park for you. ;)

I found Suzuka easier because it's one of the tracks I use to test and tune my cars. So I pretty much know it inside out. Nurburg isn't that bad, so far I've got a silver. But those chicanes on Monza I keep misreading and my timing is off so I either crash or take'em too slow.

The second chicane around Monza you can cut the c*** out of and gain loads of time. I actually overtook the ghost on the first lap there as I was carrying so much more speed coming out of it

Thanks for the tip on the second chicane that was where I was losing some time not thinking that I can cut. But now I have to work on my timing on the first chicane for the second lap. I get too excited lol Plus I'm using a DS3. I haven't gotten a wheel yet don't know which one to get.

HUD is already off I just never thought about turning off the ghost I might try that later when I get home from work.

The first turn on the chicane you can't cut but the second corner may as well not be there. You just have to avoid those big white bollard/brick things

Yeah the timing on cutting them close on the first chicane is what's getting to me. I'll just keep practicing if you guys say Suzuka is the hardest this shouldn't take too long with a little more practice.

Well count your blessings, I've only been able to muster a Gold on Monza (one of my all-time favorite tracks), Silver on Suzuka, and Bronze on GP/F. Turn 1 on GP/F gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME! But I try not to get too upset, I only use my S.Vettel to grind B-Spec Dream Car Championship for 866k credits.

I was about 1 second short of gold on Suzuka last time I tried and I got gold on the other two. I'm only doing it so I can get the Platinum trophy, something I've not even been remotely interested in accomplishing in any other game

I'm going to retry Nurburg today since I'm soo close but I think I'm going to let myself cool off from Monza it was really getting on my nerves that such a simply track can be so difficult for me.

I won't claim to have gotten gold my first try or that it was easy by any means, frankly it was probably a similar amount of time to your Suzuka attempt, but I was able to do it.

I can lap Monza quick enough during a regular race but for some reason my nerves get the best of me during the S. Vettel event and I go off. My best time on Monza is 1'01"... wish I could replicate that in the event :(

I feel you bruh It's very frustrating when you know you can but for some reason it isn't working for you.

Monza might be easier for you after Suzuka or Nurburgring, it's more of a straight track, good luck! :D

Victory! I finally got Monza. :sly:

Congrats, frankly the only bit that gave me trouble was Curve di Lesmo, turns 4 and 5 on the stubby end of the track map. Unfortunately they gave me enough trouble to prevent me from golding for an annoyingly long period of time.

Nice. I'm on my DS3 and I can only bronze these things. Maybe because I have no patience. I don't know how you can like Suzuka either. It took me more then 50 tries to bronze it, and I turned early for that last turn (The 90 degree one. Where the pit lane looks exactly like the real road) at least 20 times. :grumpy:

Yeah bro it's all about patience. Plus Suzuka has been my test track since I started the game so I pretty much have driven every car I have on it and I used it everyday.
