Everyone seems to post pictures of theirs, so here is mine. It's ugly, but it works and its cheap. The build pics are below.

Cost: 45$
Time Cost: 5 hours
Tools:
Power Drill
Hand Saw (added 2 hours)
Tape Measure
Level

Things I've learned: It's a pain to get in and out. I need to redesign the wheel holder. I didn't use anyone Else's design to make mine. I just got in my car and started taking measurements. I probably should have looked at a few first. Use a saws all or something similar. Do not use hand saw to cut large amounts of wood!

Looks great, solid and functional. You say it's ugly, but 50 other guys around the world will be planning on building the same thing, and now they can check yours out, hear what you have to say about it, and learn. I love this forum, it reminds me of a bunch of blokes standing around in other blokes sheds checking out their latest project. Good on you for sharing.

Well I originally did some work for them about 11 years ago. I ended up not using them for my original purpose and they have been sitting in a garage since.

P.S. Now that I have seen your wooden masterpiece, I feel inadequate! lol. I may use your centerpiece(wheel holder)and find a way to incorporate it into my design.

Heh heh, thanks. Its a real trade off if you want to make a compact rig, between the streamlined design you can get with a central post for the wheel, vs the inconvenience of having a central post for the wheel! Mind you, Red Bull seem fine with it! It doesn't bother me too much, but it's there, and if it wasn't the level of immersion would be higher, particularly now I'm using a clutch. I have to get it into another room through a standard doorway when its not in use, so I didn't have much choice.

If it was staying in one place I'd no doubt build a platform and something along the lines of chillicokes, which should probably be referred to as the International Chillicoke Standard because it has gained so much traction.
