So they modeled the seating position of the X2010. That looks extremely uncomfortable.

As jay leno says someone has "Way more money than brains".

Exactly. F1 cars are not designed for comfort. IRL there is an advantage of having the driver(and car) as low as possible to the ground while there's no advantage in sims.

Heh that's a great cockpit to have inside a man-cave. However, I'm still not a fan of the brace between the legs and will never be.

Why not take inspiration from it for d.i.y projects.
Including perhaps the paint scheme.

Looks quite simple design to base a cockpit from.

I'm guessing you have to fix the front end to the floor- it looks like getting in and out you would have it falling backwards? I don't like the look of that tbh- I agree with the above though, I think you could do a DIY one and make it look better as well as cheaper!!

That looks really good. I guess they made it so the sitting position simulate a real F1. But I'm pretty sure I wouldn't last 3hours playing (which I normally spend) any racing video game in that rig.

If you look, you'll find the exact same seat for $100 less without the Red Bull branding. Or 100 quid, I don't remember.
