First thing when I get GT4 disable BGM and Auto Save, Screw around one or two times with the arcade and licenses erase and get serious đź’ˇ

why bother to erase? or are you one of the intense GT fanatics who are all about the
stats (no offense intended I just don't care how many races I've lost etc so long as
I'm not using an F1 in the Sunday Cup)
 
regarding the lotus elise.. i just bought an M3 CSL... this will hopefully work things out a bit better (as i said, my clio at max power with a max shot of nitrous (70hp?) was having difficulty keeping up with the lotus on the straights.. and yes, it was an elise..



one of the sucky things is... got my friend over last night... load up gt4, select laguna seca, go to cars..... the caterham 7 is in the choices menu... but... get this... YOU CAN'T RACE WITH IT...

how stupid is that!

It's a good thing that some cars are not allowed to enter races, as it's the case with the crappy Nike car and one other prize car I got which I can't remember (a Toyota?). I suppose the Jay Leno car follows the same fate?

Can someone tell me which cars cant enter races? How many are there? And do you mean you cant race them at all, even in Enduros. :confused:

Can you drive the Caterham in any modes?

Leo_Straight6... i entered with the CSL.. and the lotus was gone.. instead it was two TVR's and an SLR to pick on (plus another CSL and an M5)...

Ten > European Races... must use euro cars...
 
yes i did.. i bought the most expensive elise... and then it wouldnt let me race with that either (wife wasnt around, so couldnt ask he to translate the reason)... good thing i had pulled out my memory card first...

that's ok~~ the m3 owned..
