Second, and the real reason I put "Silvia" up there, is because, uncreative as it may be, I named her "Silvia"."
1) "Silvia" isnt the chassis code Brother... S14 is your chassis.
2) The KA24 was not one of those engines that was avilable in Silvias
3) No 240SX can legitimately be called a Silvia. Look at what your title says, or your auto insurance. Silvia is the name of a vehicle, while S14 is your chassis code. You can freely call your car a S14, but calling your car a Silvia would be like calling your car a Dodge Viper, they're both wrong.
4) Please dont be a poser man... It's unbecomming of 240SX owners when they try to play off their car as something it's not.

I don't call her "a" silvia, her name is Silvia (or Sylvia, if you want to spell it that way).

@Omnis, it would appear that floghting point is inaccurate to varying degrees.
Here is some reliable more accurate information to be exact:
"it's common slang to easily refer to a car and its year without having to give a drawn out explanation. "The S13 refers to the RPS13 SR20DET Nissan Silvia (Japan only) made from 1991-1998."
S13 is short for RPS13 SR20DET the engine is the "stock" motor made in Japan only silvia's that Takumi-San mentioned and and comes turboed.
S14 mid style cars were introduced in Japan in 1994 and in the US a year later
