OK could not help but notice he is lvl 0. Does this mean I need to re run all the races I won with my first driver again? And if so if I win gold again do I get the same rewards (i.e. money and exp)?

No, you don't have to run the same races over again. You can jump straight to, say, level 5 races with him. Note that if you do this, as he isn't "trained" yet that his strength and mental strength will drop quickly. If you do choose to run the races you've already done again, you will earn experience and credits but you won't earn the prize cars again.

all i did wag when i got to the endurace races, i put them on it with my first driver and they jumped straight to level 10 then 13, all 6 of my drivers are now level 30 and above
