My thoughts on GT6

i have bought 2 used copies of gt6,and 1 new copy of gt6 and they never load on my ps3. my friend had no problem loading gt6,in the game menu. i would like to play gt6 but now i got rid of it too much hassle for a fun game. Think this will put me off any future GT titles in the future just a 2 cents.
 
my ps3 does work properly it loads all of my other games,and all 3 times the 2 used & 1 new were in mint condition.
basically i'm saying is that i've had bad experiences with GT6 & now i probably won't waste my time on buying GT6 again.

Thing is as you are the only one having this problem it is your PS3 & not the game or we would be having issues to.

Not necessarily. There have been countless reports of issues with GT6 and people saying they play many other games and don't have the same issues as they do with GT.

I stand corrected if that's the case.
Do think GT works the laser hard hence the reason I bought the digital download.

It's also common to have issues at individual tracks, especially Bathurst, which has a well documented sound issue, especially online.
 
If your friend run the same disc with no problem than it could only be your ps3. I have changed my ps3 three times becouse of hdd and laser issues. Don't blame the software where you have hardware issues. And remember GT6 is pushing the console to it's limit.

well i can't afford another ps3 at the moment if this slim 160 gb ps3 quits working,i'm on my own.

Well my mind is made up,Im not buying another ps3 new or used if this ps3 fails for good it will be permanent.

I can not understand this, If your friend had no problem loading GT6, well its your PS3 that is your problem.
 
9 times out of 10 mate it'll be your PS3 laser or the console itself if it was working properly there is no way that all those GT6 games you brought wouldn't work properly if your console is under warrantee id send it to Sony to get it looked at and repaired
 
my ps3 warranty has expired a long time ago. i will call sony, & speak to them about the problems i am having with GT6. this ps3 i own loads every game i own.

That is so strange that you are only having loading problems with GT6 and all your other PS3 games you have got load ok that is so weird.

Of topic I had a problem a few years with a my CD player it would not load my CD so I tried other CDs no problem loading so I ended up buying a new one the exactly the same one that I was having problems with and it still would not load eventually I found out it was the laser in the CD player was not reading the CD properly. So it may be your laser in your PS3 is causing the problem as SteveEnforcer pointed it out in his post.
