So I want a record I can reference and edit as needed. Also, discussion of my choices are welcome. I will try to explain the reasons I choose as I do briefly.

Top 5 Premium Conversion Race Cars

1: Audi R8 LMS - This care is beautiful and a wonder to drive.

2: FTO LM, er "Super Touring Car" - The heart of what GT has been, and in many ways still is. The original was powered mid-ship and four wheel drive. This car was the first best car in the series.

3: RX-7 LM - Similar reasons to above and different enough from the other RX-7 race cars to warrant inclusion in my opinion.

4: M3 GTR Race Car - Fantastic. I love this car. Honestly it looks pretty good as standard but I think all the BMW should be Premium.

5: Mazda Furai - This car is one of the most beautiful prototype racers ever, in my opinion. It should be included with the semi-flat number 55 paint scheme seen in the videos.

Top 5 Premium Conversion Production Models (With appropriate RM versions of course)

1: Bugatti Veyron - So I am not necessarily a huge Veyron fan. However, it is the iconic car of the decade (according to the Top Gear folks), and possibly my adult lifetime. A technological marvel. Also, I'm kind of a fan. ;p

2: Toyota Supra RZ '02 - It is a shame that the 300ZX, NSX, and RX-7 all have premium models and this one does not. This should be corrected.

3: Saleen S7 - Not many American supercars in the premium stables and this one is a beast.

4: Spyker C8 - Another manufacturer stable in the premium dealers wouldn't hurt. Spyker has many new models, including some race cars that can be added as well. Also, I'm kind of disappointed I cannot change my wheels.

5: Autobacs Garaiya - Interesting that this one was not made premium as the race version was. I think it's great and fun to drive in slower classes.

Top 5 RM Mod additions (would be great if these started appearing in updates)

1: Aston Martin DB9 - Even though we have the new addition to the Aston Martin family (which should have come with the RM option if you ask me), this one takes priority. It has a storied racing pedigree and is more deserving than any other.

2: Mercedes SLS - I have the Stealth SLS and my production model is lighter with full weight reduction......wha?!? Fix please.

3: Dodge Viper ACR - I can't really say anything other than Chevy has a Corvette Race Car, Ford has a GT race car...what's missing.

4: Z4 M Coupe - Easily one of my favorite cars from one of my favorite manufacturers. I'd like a race version please. Thanks.

5: Toyota 86 - I really like this car. I would have preferred a BZR and a GT300 race car to go with. I'll take a lookalike RM instead though.

Top 5 DLC Car Requests (This one is hard. I'll probably start with American Supercars)

1: Saleen S5S Raptor - So here is the first American Supercar. Yeah, I like it.

2: Falcon F7 - So this thing looks very American in the same way Magnum PI made a Ferrari 308 GTS look American. I'm not sure what that means but it doesn't look like a Ferrari....even though it kinda does. I like it.

3: Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale/Corsa - Yeah, I'm including both...it's my list. Want. This. Car.

4: Lotus Exige S - 345 horsepower Lotus Exige.....yes please. Plus, we need an Exige.

5: Ford Shelby GR-1 Concept - I don't have to explain myself...Mid-engine Ford Supercars feel weird okay! I really want them to have an affordable Corvette fighter.

Top 5 Blasts From The Past (I can already see you guys rolling your eyes...I don't care!...much.)

1: Cerberus LM Edition - One of my favorites.

2: GTO LM Edition - I miss it.

3: Del Sol LM Edition - Notice a pattern yet? Another example of the any car can be made to race spirit of the game.

4: Lotus Elise GT-1 - Seriously, why?

5: Venturi - Both of them...again, my list. ;p

Top 5 Track DLC requests

1: Road Atlanta - My home track

2: Midfield - I really miss this track.

3: Seattle - I nearly cried.

4: Mount Panorama - A: I'd like to drive it. B: I'd like the community to move on to requesting new things ;p

5: Special Stage 11 - The Legend.

Okay, that's it for now. All are subject to change.

I do miss some of the old "LM" cars like the above mentioned Del Sol. It would be really cool to see a GT5 era interpretation of a Del Sol LM. IIRC, that was my favored car in GT1.

Am I the only one that reckons Race Mods are crap? They are neither a road car, nor a proper race car. They are far too much 'fast and furious' type of car for me. I'd much rather they included a whole host of proper race cars from proper race car catagories (FIA championships, WTCC/BTCC/ATCC, Time Attack etc etc) rather than PD making stuff up.

Rather than change standards to premiums, I'd just like the option to RM the standards.

I disagree. I believe they look pretty "believable", meaning I wouldn't be surprised to see cars turn up on race tracks looking like the RM-versions do. The aero additions make sense, be it the wider track, lowered suspension and the big wings, along with the paint job and the stripped out cockpit with the sequential gearbox. Don't get me wrong, I loathe this "fast and furious" modding crap, hence why I am against the livery editor. I just don't want to see a Ferrari with a stupidly big wing and a "NOS"-sticker on its pink window. But when I look at the RM cars, I think to myself "GT1" (Corvettes), "touring car" (IS-F and so on) and "affordable racing series" (Cappuccino :) )

And as much as I would love to see "real" racing cars, most of all the DBR9 and the Z4 GT3 like the OP, there is always the old licensing issue. If there is just ONE car I would wish for, and it really is just this one, it would be the BMW M3 GT2 of 2010 (or GT of 2011). I've seen it for real, want it in the game. But as it was on the cover of NFS Shift, I guess I can kiss that dream goodbye. So an RM version that comes really close to it would be welcome and would solve the issue.

Nothing special about this.

Shall I add a Mclaren then?

Pointless, pointless thread.

Catagorically untrue. You may not appreciate the point, but it is there. Think of it as a checklist. Or a record I can refer to and compair against....with a timestamp. If you see no point in discussing it, don't.

That's not my point mate. My point is that there is nothing to seperate this thread from the billion other wish list threads around.

What he said. Nothing special about this list, it's just like any other.

I think I made it pretty clear that it is special because I made it. Also, to quote a guy oft quoted: "Why so serious?"

Because if we had a wish list for every member in the GT5 section we would have no more room for anything else, and anyone wanting a complete view of all the members wishes would have to trawl hundreds of threads.

That's you made it doesn't make it any more 'special' than another members wishlist, they don't get to have an individual one and neither do you.

Add you lists and thoughts to the existing thread please.
