Im been trying to get this to work for about a month but still cant get it to work.

I think the problem is WMP

For one this link

http://radiolemans.com/ if you go to listen live, it just says

1. Connecting
2. Ready

and when i click play, it just keeps saying ready.

This only happens on my Vista laptop, everything is fine on all my xp computers.

Here is another link that wont work.

mms://livestream.eurosport.com/nogeo/75213.wsx

this is what it says....

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").

Is there a way to open these with VLC or a way to turn WMP off completely?

Thanx in advanced.

It's not going to help you in the least, but on my Vista laptop, radiolemans.com runs just fine.

I tried streaming through Winamp but it comes back with an error that it can't sync.

Edit: Success! In VLC, go to file, click Open Network Stream and click the Network tab. Click on the dot next to HTTP, etc. and past http://globecast.workscast.com/ in the box.

Hope that works!

Is there another place to check if there is video working too?
