So I got to level 30 last night and was stoked because I grinded 5 indy 500 endurance races to get there :). So now i start the x1 challenge and it am completely blown away by this car. it is like nothing like i have ever raced before.

i started at Monza because I thought it would be easier. not to many turns so... 3 hours later in finally get bronze. funny thing was that in 3 hours of never completed the 2nd laps. lol.

after that I went to nurburg... oh god what a challenge. spent 7 hours and finally got a bronze. i was so close about 15 times missing bronze by. 100-. 200. seconds.

and now i am on suzuka. wish me luck :)

I have done Monza and Nurburgring. took pretty much the same time as you once I used my wheel, now im stuck on Suzuka, its hard. Good luck :)

i did sleep after my first bronze lol. but yes im stuck on suzuka also. running 1:08 on first lap then sucking it up on the second :(. by far the toughest but it will be most rewarding. after i got my bronze on nurburg (second bronze after 6 hours of failing) i jumped up and ran around with my hands in the air with joy!! good luck to all that dare to accept this challenge. but beware of your using a controller... pray to your god for help

This reminds me of the S license in GT5p.. spent like 3 hours on the suzuka challenge I think.. maybe more -_-

Not surprisingly. It's actually race version of batman mobile from Batman Forever.

Proof!

a little tip to get you a good head start for lap 2... go flat out through the first corner until the very end, then brake yourself into the apex, from that point on, it's about keeping your pace up and repeating.

Ok ladies... it's finally here. i am a proud owner of an x1¡!!! and yes the wheel does turn in the cockpit view.

Yes, you can use it in a-spec events, not sure about b-spec yet I will let you know.

I'm scared. I'm only on lvl 17 (damn work don't give me much time) but I'll get there. Don't know if I'll pass it though lolz.

Contrats on getting Bronze :)

The X1 is ridiculously fast! I was hosting at La Sarthe last night, and a guy dropped in with one... Everyone reached for their Veyrons to try and beat it, but they couldn't even stay in the same sector, never mind on its tail!

The car even knocked around a minute off the fastest lap time that had been set at that point too, with an unbelieveably fast 2.20.xxx for a sinlge lap of La Sarthe!

Honestly, I was behind it in my max tuned 88C-V, and the guy pulled off like I was standing still. It's so fast, you really can only catch a glimpse of it through replay, because in race, it's just a screeming blur!  👍

Man I'm level 22 at the moment, and I'm really looking forward driving this beast...though as mentioned before I highly doubt whether I will come close to beating this Vettel challenge...I'm struggling getting all license silver...sigh...

Wow I'm leaving B-spec untill I finally have this car...hahahahaha...then my b-spec driver can be as crap as he wishes to be and will still win :D

Epic, crazy, fantastic. I had a thought the other day that by about the year 2020 we'll be seeing F1 cars exactly like this. Just imagine 30 odd of those cars racing all at once, taking bends at 400 km/h.

thats from speed racer movie of the wachowski brothers lol

Where did you bought/got your monster for those f1 races? Buy it from a used car market or could we have it as a prizecar from some level or event? Thanks:tup:

Not if idiots like Nick Heidfeld is racing...he is one of the main guys constantly complaining the cars in F1 are getting too dangerous and too fast etc.

Back in the day in 2004 he was complaining like mad along with other drivers...and now the cars are a lot slower...they are even going to change the engines to 1.6 turbo charged engines soon...sad

I honestly do not want to derail this thread but I do not think a drop in horsepower will make F1 any less exciting. We had one of the most exciting seasons ever this year and in fact, the cars were slower than last year because of the new refuilling regulations.

Having more horsepower isn't what makes F1 a better spectator sport. It's not in any way sad that the engines won't make as much power, and honestly, they won't be far behind what we had this year. They are talking about 600 - 700hp. You will not be able to see a difference as a spectator.

As far as safety goes in F1, F1 is the safest it's ever been. We have not had fatalities for a while now. Heidfeld is a bit of a pussy and has no say because he doesn't have a cockpit and his BMW team failed hardcore and now his boss Theissen had to retire.

They are trying to bring down cost for the teams by changeing engines, as well as providing a more "green" image, even though this part is horse****. A typical F1 team uses over half its budget on engines alone. They need to bring these costs down and have been doing so, it used to be even worse, in order to make the sport more accessible for new competition.

In conclusion, F1 isn't about having the most horsepower, it's about being the hardest series to compete in, with the most challenging courses and the fastest laptimes, and advances in chassis, tyres and aerodynamics are more important for that than having 50hp less or more

Really looking forward to getting to level 30. But instead of being impatient, I'm trying to enjoy the journey getting there (just got the Minolta race car last night).

I'm hoping all my time spent getting familiar with Suzuka on the Prologue S-10 challenge will serve me well!
