OPM has hinted that there is an unannounced, extremely secret launch title for the PS3, giving no clues, other than the title has 5 words.

Truth, or media spin? Maybe it's a cruel joke, who knows, but you can hear about it in this weeks radiOPM podcast:

http://radiopm.1up.com

Check it out :)

Any ideas of what it may be?

Well if its true and secret then surely we wouldnt have heard of it so how would we be able to guess....... unless its a sequel to an exsisting series.

Initially I thought it might be 'grand thieft auto something something' but thats no secret.....I remember that early 'six days to vegas' thing but I doubt its that......Im sure its going to be a totally new title.... abit long winded to be 5 words!..... still, its may be an amazing game!

But it may be just a joke..... but having said that, its OPM so.....

Knights Of The Old Republic? Wishful thinking, I know...

Grand Theft Auto something something?

Final Fantasy XIII something something?

Well, Elder Scrolls comes to mind, though I wouldn't see a reason for secrecy.

Possibly another Silent Hill title? Or will Devil May Cry 4 has a sub title?

Who knows!? It's exciting to wait for though. We should know in about 2 weeks or so, around Oct 12th at the latest.

Just thinking...... it may be a Singstar / Eye Toy (next gen) / Dance Rev title...... for all the new hardware which is suppose to be comming up..... those would have long names I suppose!

Final Fanasty XIII Something Something  ..... reminds me of that piss take ps3 cartoon series where by like 2012 the front cover had to fold out to show all the roman numerals!!! It went on for like 4 pages......

I'm personally wondering if it has anything to do with the Naughty Dog title that we've seen so little about, and have no idea what it's called...

Jak & Daxter 12: Apocalypse.

There you go. 5 words and a gaming cliche in a sequel with a scary butch word nailed onto it. Beer time.

Oddly, the Wikipedia page for it is the five-word "The Untitled Naughty Dog Project"... :D

"The Untitled Naughty Dog Project" ........ probably the most highly anticipated PS3 game so far!......

Sorry, I should have read your post:mad: Here's some news:)

Oblivion to be PlayStation 3 launch title
by Zhao Jingyu

1UP.com's RadiOPM recently announced that a new PlayStation 3 launch title would be revealed in the November issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM), however, it seems that the secret may have been leaked on another 1UP podcast service, 1UP Yours.

While talking about Oblivion and its suspected expansions, a 1UP Yours podcast host let it slip that Oblivion will be making its way to the PlayStation 3 and that it will be a launch title. This seems to fit previous clues offered by RadiOPM- the name of the game would be five words long and it was be a game which was previously not announced for the PlayStation 3. The full name of Oblivion is indeed five words long, "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and the game has so far been an Xbox 360 exclusive when it comes to consoles.

Oblivion making its way to the PlayStation 3 has almost been as hotly debated as the exculsivity of Asassin's Creed, with Sony fans claiming that it would be a matter of time before a PlayStation 3 version of the action RPG would be announced.

If Oblivion is indeed to be a PlayStation 3 launch title, it will be hitting shelves in North America on November 17th.

Well, that guy from Leipzig was correct. Again. Now, if what he said about it was true, that Bethesda is going all-out with the PS3 version, doing things that weren't possible before...

I can't wait.

The problem is that Oblivion is not really mysterious since rumor about it is being on PS3 has been around for a while.

I really hope it's not oblivion, so we'll have Oblivion at launch, and this mysterious title, more games, more choices = better:tup:

Hmm, that one guy says it's Killzone. I still think it's Oblivion.

Killzone is not five words. Unless, it's something like "Killzone: The Mutant Helghast Return." Or, something less retarded...

I'm still hoping it's that Rock Star Cowboy Western game.

10 bucks says they pull that stunt, yo.

"Attack the Giant Enemy Crab."

killzone is their halo fighter, this year is resistence.

oblivion is coming to the PS3, but that´s not the surprise.

they said the game had a bad showing at E3 and its a PS3 exclusive. joe ribicky went inside the US one of those weeks to check out the game.

it must be something from sony santa monica or one of their studious inside the US. could be naughty dog, that´s the only thing i can fit into this scheme.

Yeah Sony will be keeping that 'card' to play when Halo 3 comes out...... Pity we have seen nothing of it apart from the video which wasnt in game way back at TGS last year....

The only games I'll consider to be a "Halo fighter" will be the ones that actually match it in sales. Until then, nothing is a "halo fighter".

When IGN say's Killzone is a "Halo Killer"...they know that all the halo fans will read it to try to see what the fuss is about, then they'll post on their forum. What does this do for IGN? Why would they say this?

Simple.

Clicks. When their ad's are viewed, clicked, etc, they get $$$. You and your reading is $$$ to them. Hype for a game = Clicks = $$$.

Love the media, but understand it first.

that´s exactly why killzone is their halo fighter. as in a hype fight. i bet they will be releasing in the same day as halo 3. that´s the only FPS sony has that can get equivalent press against halo 3. they will use the press for that, you know that.
