If anything thats not the Nordschliffe version, thats too big for the PS2's memory.

Interesting, any progress in checking if there is enough data to have some surt of good use?

It's filesize is smaller than Midfields, so it doesn't even look like the current GP circuit.

Hmmm... should be interesting to see what that is exactly, as well as "nursnow"

Thats only the COURSE-DATA!

Milkmen said, that in the CAR-DATA there were more than 100 cars!!!

BONUS CARS???

Well what is interesting to note is to compare this to another interesting paralel info. PES3 the demo was leaked on to the net. Normaly you could only play Exhibition match (quick match) and choose inbetween 4 teams. Later a group made a patch that would let you to choose any teams you want. : )

Please post a direct link into the thread where theyre talking about the extra data files in it. Recall in GT3 was fittable one cd if you took out the night car models.

The data is there all we need is someone who can hack it.

What would "Test2" be? I hope it's longer version so I can test top speeds.

Remember there were a large number of cars in the coding for GT Concept that were never selectable in the game. I remember in particular the New Mini Cooper Rally Car ;)

You could pick the mini cooper if you had a sharkport and a program if I recall correctly. It was something to do with replacing the selections in the menu's with the hidden cars.

sum one fill me in, are these just the files that one can see if the GT4P DVD is put into the computer and look into the DVD's files?
or is this sumthin else?

PES3 is pro evolution soccer 3. I was talking about the football game. When installed the demo was 300 mb and actually had many more teams then it showed, and with a tweak patch you could play any team.

If these files are indeed the tracks and cars and have all the data needed then we might run them : ).

Capri is the Mediterannian track on the 'ending' movie on GT4P, I am guessing.

Also Fisco is there. That's a track in Japan. I've seen it a lot in Option, D1GP and Best Motoring stuff.

Considering filesize it could be something else than the actual tracks:

Mini (Autumn Ring Mini I guess..) 3.1 MB
High Speed Ring 1.8 MB
Motegi 1.3 MB

I might be way off, this was just a hunch.

Yey! High Speed Ring!!!

No Suzuka there? Bah. This list sucks big time. :)
Also, the majoritiy of the tracks is missing. But, if someone cope to crack this stuff that will be the day to remeber.

And I agree with Chaser Fan, Capri should be the second new track shown on the video.

But whatever it is why include it? Btw, what are standard track size (mb that is)?

I'm not sure, but I think the GT4 engine may employ a streaming technique.

Notice how tracks are split up in ~4MB chunks. There's the normal file named after the track which may contain track info and structure and the follow up files L_TrackN.

That's going to be interesting.

That San Marco track is in Venice, Italy. Capri is also in Italy. And Assisi also is in Italy. That's 3 Italian tracks so far.

Lucky Italians :)

There is no monaco! what is going on I love that track!

slow down guys...

thats a directory screenshot form the GT4 Prologue Disk (file GT4.vol), nobody says thats the final courses of GT4, but maybe we have someone like "MK" (GT3 GarageEditor) that can crack a savegame or other things on GT4 Prologue and maybe then we can drive with other cars (like GTC) or other courses

it´s only a preview for possible courses on the final game

(sorry for this type of english :) .. i´m german )

Thats not the entire list anyway, theres 100 tracks in GT4 (includinge reverse variations) count how many different tracks are in the list, it's in the 20's I think.

Mmmh very interesting the different versions numbers of a single track.

I think this could be a selection of various day stages or conditions(wet tracks or some surprises).

It's a fixed game data(an index) or a real compiled directory with all the files?

not a Index
all files are extracted from the public GT4 Prologue Version

Milken have you tried relinking from the current track files (such as fuji) to any other tracks?

Isn't it possible to hack them with the GameShark or something? I mean, fooling the game into thinking he's loading Tsukuba and load Capri instead?
