I'm pretty sure there is no other thread like this. I have started compiling all of the messages on the road in Nürburgring in a Word document. I have been driving around typing the messages for about 45 minutes now. I have a LONG way to go, but here is the start of them. You may need Word 2003 to view this, I'm not sure...

-edit- If you want, you can add some of the ones you have seen! Makes the job simpler for me down the road. lol

This is very interesting! I have always wondered what those markings meant! By the way, you should put your name in the file so people know its from you.

Well... what happened to it? It would be very cool to see.

The ultimate would be to have a track map with little square "baloons" that zoom on the particular section of track that they point to and have a picture of the text.

its somewhere in the gt4 photos its called scenic drive around the nurgburgring.

I do know a bit of German, so yes, I could translate some. I think the most interesting thing I have found so far is "F You". It actually says this on the track. The F is um.. sideways to the track and You is parallel to the track. ||_ You sort of thing. (I tried as best I could there to reacreate it :p) I have noticed that in this short area,(about 2 1/2 miles on the track) a few messages have repeated. Something about "Hi Sweety, Esther" and "Mendia" something. The Mendia thing is almost like it's an address or something. "743 Mendia". I dojn't know, I got a TON A LOT to do yet. :ouch: So on Monday, I'll get going on it again.

Pretty strange. Good luck for doing the rest.
 
I like the "crosswalk" just after by the Karusell. I sure hope no idiotic fans try to cross the track there during the race, though.

[Now I'm just waiting for Famine to tell me it's something else...]

I noticed the crosswalk too...One Problem...You'd have to jump the fence, then the barrier, cross the road, then hop the barrier, and then another fence. It'd be kinda stupid. It'd be hilarious to watch though. :dunce:
